Forever

Chapter 14- The Battle

      It's been about four to five years since Fred and I started dating. Now, we're still together, but we're fighting a deadly battle.
      "Get inside!" McGonagall yelled, "Take cover!"
      Everybody ran inside. Fred, George, Lee, and I ran in together. There was a huge crash close to us, Fred put his arm around me and we all ducked.
      "Fred and I will go this way!" I yelled.
      We ran through crowds of people, flicking our wands at Death Eaters and magical creatures.
      "Get up high!" Fred yelled as we ran up the stairs.
      A Death Eater broke through the window. I snapped my wand and sent his flying off the stairs.
      "That's my girl." Fred said.
      We continued running until we were on a balcony.
      Two Death Eaters surrounded us. Fred was face to face with a male, I was against a female. At the same time, we spun around and attacked the opposite opponent.
      Large pieces of stone and concrete came falling down.
      "Fred!" I grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the way.
      Everything was happening so fast, I could barely process what was happening.
      "Y/n!" I looked past Fred to see Lee and George running our way.
      I looked at them, "We're gonna keep going up, you stay down here!"
      Fred and I ran until we were on a main floor. Fred reached for my hand and pulled me back as a spell flew past my face.
      I pointed my wand in the direction that it came from and attacked the provider.
      A spell came from in front of me, shooting me backwards. Fred got the person and ran to me.
      "Are you okay?"
      I stood up, "Yeah!"
      We ran, helping our other classmates. A piece of stone came down and cut Fred's arm.
      "It's okay!" He told me when I looked at the wound.
      A Death Eater came up to us. I stepped in front of Fred and cast a spell.
      He stopped it before it hit him. I kept slashing the same spell, taking steps closer to him. I swung my wand one last time and eliminated him.
      Fred ran to me and grabbed my arm, "Let's go."
      We continued running. We heard thuds around us.
      Fred and I looked around in circles. About three Death Eaters were surrounding us.
      One of them pointed their wands at me and Fred got rid of them. Now there were two Death Eaters.
      The women glared at me and raised her wand, "Crucio!"
      I fell back, but Fred caught me before I hit the ground. He gently put me down as I froze from the pain.
      I gasped and screamed. The pain was excruciating and was coursing through my veins.
      Fred swung his wand, sending the Death Eaters back, but not killing them.
      "No!" He yelled, he began to sob, "Y/n!"
      I dropped my wand and yelled. There was a stinging in my head, throbbing within my flesh.
      I screamed again.
      "No, no, please!" He yelled, holding me to his chest, "Y/n."
      My vision began going blurry as I yelled again.
      "Say you won't let go." He sniffled, "Y/n, don't leave!"
      "Fred!" I yelled through the pain.
      "No!" He choked, "Please! I need you! You can't leave me!"
      He looked up, "GEORGE!" He screamed.
      He looked back at me, "Y/n, please, no. Please, I need you. I love you. Don't let go! Don't close your eyes, please!"
      I curled in the pain, yelling again.
      "I'm right here!" He yelled, "Don't leave me!" He held me tightly, "Y/n!"
      I looked at him. My vision was going black around the edges. I yelled again before I gasped.
      "No!"
      My breathed got shallow and quick.
      "Don't let go! You need to stay!" He cried.
      I looked behind him at one of the Death Eaters, I tried to tell him, "Fred." I barely said.
      "Y/n, I love you. Forever." He said. It was the calmest thing he has said yet.
      I gripped his hand, "I love you."
      "Avada Kedavra!" The Death Eater yelled.
      I saw a flash of green before I saw nothing.

      I heard echoes of yelling.
      "Fred!"
      "No!"
      "Y/n!"
      "Please!"

      I slowly opened my eyes, "Fred?"
      "Darling?" He said.
      I looked to my left and saw him. He was floating there. His body was transparent and glowing.
      "No." I cried, "Oh my God, no!"
      He flew over to me, "Shh." He grabbed me.
      "Fred, how can I feel you?" I asked through sobs.
      He started crying, "Y/n..."
      I looked down at my body, I looked the same as he did.
      I shook my hands up to my mouth, "No." I whispered.
      I looked around us, it was white. I floated around.
      "Lupin? Tonks?" I said quietly.
      They turned around and looked at me, they were dead, too.
      "Y/n." Fred said, grabbing my arm.
      I turned and looked at him, "What, Fred?"
      He looked down, so I did too. I saw Harry, Molly, Ron, Hermione, Arthur, Percy, Ginny, Lee, and George.
      "They're standing over our bodies." Fred whispered.
      "Oh my God." I said, "Fred, how are they gonna live with this?"
      "They're gonna have to. I'm sure they know that we're in a better place now." He said.
      I shook my head, "No place was better than home."
      George grabbed onto Ron as Ron dropped to his knees besides Molly.
      "George." I said, "George is the most devastated out of all of them."
      "He's gonna be okay." Fred said, touching my shoulder.
      I looked at him, "This is all my fault. I should've payed more attention. I should've told you about the Death Eater."
      "No." Fred said, "What happened, happened."
      I grabbed onto him and cried as he stroked my ghostly hair.
      "Georgie." I whispered.
      Fred lifted my chin up, "At least we're together. Forever."
      I sniffled, "Forever."
