Take Over (Kokichi x Shuichi) **Completed**

Chapter 13 - 5 years later

Shuichi POV

Its been 5 years since Kokichi left. It took me awhile to get over it, but I'm better now. We've all adjusted to our lives here well too.

Not all of us have jobs that make money, some just volunteer and stay at home. But the jobs we do are pretty fun!

Kaede teaches a beginners piano class, Rantaro does a little survival program, Tsumugi has her own clothing store, Himiko does magic shows in the park for kids, Tenko does self defense classes, Angie became a part time art teacher, and I became a detective.

Its a small town so nothing ever really happens. The only big thing thats ever happened here was the incident that happened 5 years ago.

A group called D.I.C.E took control of the town for one night then disappeared.

Kinda ironic that I have to investigate it, I know more about this case then the file and police that were working that night.

I was closing some files on my desk when I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Mr. Saihara, we have news on that dice case." My coworker said.

My eyes widened and I turned my head. "W-what do you mean!?" I asked excitedly.
"We got a note from there leader. It says that you need to meet them at **insert destination** and to come alone."

I took the note from his hand. 'It looks like Kokichis hand writing!'

"I'll go then. I'll text you if I need back up"
"Alright be safe"
"I will"
I grabbed my coat, badge, gun, and handcuffs. Not that I'll be using them, just so I dont look suspicious. Then I walked out the door.

It wasn't a long walk, only about 15 mabey 20 minutes. When I finally got there I opened the door and walked in. All the lights were off so I couldn't see much, only slight shadows.

I was about to give up thinking it was a prank when the lights flashed on revealing the one and only...

Kokichi Ouma.

I felt happy tears start to form in my eyes, and a big smile plastered to my face. He giggled a bit.

"Welcome back Kokichi, I missed you" I said running up and pulling him into a hug.

"I missed you too, my beloved detective"
