When Qrow got off the airship when it landed in Atlas, the cold stabs at him like a knife. He immediately throws on two more shirts and a jacket then heads to the hotel he was told to stay in. Once there, he sends a message to Taka telling him that he made it to Atlas.

Taka: Be sure to avoid being seen with the client. They don't want anyone knowing what they're up to.

Qrow: Yes, sir.

With that conversation over and done with, Qrow heads out to track down his target. He finds the Ebi home about twenty minutes from the hotel. It was rather big and probably had more rooms than necessary, and quite luxurious...after all, it was the home of a council member. From a hiding place, Qrow watches the home so he can know the best places and opportunities to sneak in and get the job done. Through one of the windows on the second floor, Qrow spots his target.

"That must be his bedroom." Qrow mumbled to himself.

He comes up with a plan that will hopefully work; which is to wait until it's late at night when everyone is asleep and kill his target in his sleep.

"I should be in and out before anyone realizes he's dead." Qrow told himself as he walked back to his hotel to wait for nightfall.

Meanwhile, in the Ebi home, Clover leaves his room and goes to the kitchen to get himself a snack. When he gets there he sees his mom sitting at the table with a bunch papers and documents scattered across it. The councilwoman looked beyond stressed, with dark circles under her eyes as she stared blankly at the papers in front of her.

"Mom...are you okay?" Clover asked.

"I'm fine, Mommy's fine...I'm just...I got a lot on my plate." Joanna replied rubbing her eyes.

"Then maybe you should take a break. You look exhausted." Clover said as he opened the fridge and took out an apple.

"I wish I could, baby, but things in Atlas are so hectic and Councilmember Logan is impossible to deal with." Joanna sighed.

"Uhg, I don't like Councilmember Logan, they're a jacka**." Clover grumbled as he cut his apple into slices.

"Jacka** or not, they need to start agreeing with me on things or else nothing will get done." Joanna said.

"But, Mom, you're not the only council member, you don't have to put so much work on yourself. This may be your job, but your health and wellbeing should come first." Clover told his mother, placing his apple slices on a plate.

Clover's father, Trevor then comes into the kitchen.

"There you are! I've been looking all over for you. Put those papers away and come rest. Look at you, you can barely keep your eyes open." Trevor fussed.

"*sigh* Oh alright." Joanna relented.

She stacks up all the papers into a neat pile then puts them in her briefcase.

"I'm gonna go take a relaxing hot bath..." Joanna said getting up from the table.

Then she grabs her husband's wrist.

"And you're gonna join me." Joanna said with a grin.

"Mmmm, as you wish, my beautiful wife." Trevor grinned back.

Trevor holds his wife's waist and stands on his toes so that she doesn't have to bend down as far to meet his lips.

"Get a room!" Clover chuckled.

"Alright then. Thanks for looking out for your mama, my baby boy." Joanna said walking over to her son and kissing his forehead.

While eating his snack, Clover played a game on his phone. He wished he could join the council so that he could help his mother out, but he was too young; you have to be at least be 30 years old in order be a council member. Suddenly, Clover's cat, Shamrock jumps up onto the table holding her toy mouse in her mouth.

"Shamrock, you know you're not supposed to jump onto the table." Clover giggled.

The cat puts her toy down and nudges it towards Clover.

"Want me to play with you?" Clover asked picking up the toy.

Shamrock meows and gently baps her paw at Clover's hand.

"Okay okay, we'll play." Clover laughed scooping his cat into his arms.

In his room, Clover plays with Shamrock until the cat got tired and curled up in his lap. Later on that night, in his hotel room, Qrow gets dressed in all black then puts on his mask and grabs his best knife.

"Let's just get this over and done with." Qrow sighed before climbing out the window.

He quietly sneaks to his target's house, climbs over the fence, and climbs up the side of the house, walking on the roof of the first floor to get to Clover's bedroom window. He looks through the window and saw that his target was fast asleep, laying on his back, one arm draped over his stomach and the other behind his head under the pillow. Carefully, Qrow opens the window and slips inside. As he slowly tiptoed towards the bed, Qrow unsheathed his knife from his belt. The best place to attack would either be the heart or the throat, so that his target's death would be as quick and as painless as possible. Qrow raises his knife above his head, ready to strike.

"CLOVER!!" he heard a distressed young girl's voice shout from the hallway.

When Clover began to stir, Qrow panicked, then dove down and crawled under the bed. From his place under the bed, Qrow saw Clover's bedroom door open and a pair of bare feet walk in.

"*yawn* What's wrong, Punzie?" Clover asked tiredly.

"I-I had a nightmare." the girl, Punzie, replied.

"Can I lay with you for a bit?" she asked timidly.

"Sure, sis." Clover replied scooting over in the bed.

Qrow hears the bed creak and watches it dip a little as the girl named Punzie, who was obviously his target's sister, climbs into the bed beside her brother. If it was Tyrian or Raven, they would've just killed the both of them and moved on. But Qrow doesn't do that, he never kills anyone but his target. So, now, Qrow has to remain in his hiding place and wait for Punzie to leave and for Clover to fall back asleep before he could complete his assignment. He lays as still as he can and keeps quiet so that he's not discovered...cause that would definitely be disastrous.
