When we got to the hospital, everyone was staring at us as we walked in. We just pretended to ignore it and walked straight to the counter.
"Excuse me, we are here to see Brian Motterson." Aunt Wilma said.
"Names?" The nurse at the desk asked.
"Wilma and Giovamma Motterson." Aunt Wilma told her.
"Okay, follow me." the nurse said.
We followed her through the maze of the hospital. Finally, we stopped at a room."Here we are."
So we walked inside and saw my brother, he looked pretty unconscious. There were cords connected to his arms and legs, and a heart rate machine on his right.
"What do we do now?" I whispered to Aunt Wilma.
"I think we just see if he's ok."
So with that, she walked over to him and kissed him on his head, his cold, unconscious head. She insisted I do the same. I was thinking "No way!" I went over to him and patted his arm.
"Now what?" I asked
"I... guess we just.... Leave..." she stammered still looking at his blank face.
So we left. The car ride was silent. We were both lost in our own thoughts.
Will Brian be ok? I hope so...
