"Let's get through 7th grade, one mean girl at a time." Cristi had told me. It was nice to believe I had a friend. Since she was my friend, I told her about Brian. She hugged me with empathy afterwards.
"I'm so sorry for your loss." She said sympathetically.
"All you have to promise me is that you won't act sad for me, or different whenever I'm around. Promise?"
"I promise."
"Good..."

"Thanks for making me go to school today." I told Aunt Wilma.
"You're welcome. I knew it would help you." She replied.
Then I went to my room and wrote an entry in my journal. It was the first ever good entry. I love it. I want more days like this. Then I fell asleep.
Dream:
It was school. All of the sudden, Brian was there. He ran up to me and hugged me. He whispered in my ear: I wish I would have stayed with you. He said that repeatedly. It made me smile. I miss him so much and we never let go.I woke up smiling, ready to start the day, and my new and improved life.
