7- Talking

Deku's pov

This note thing is really throwing me off. 

If it is him, then it means he really didn't die like we were told.  He is alive then.  That would make sense because he called me Izuku instead of Deku.

"Hey deku!" I hear toga yell in my ear, "You were muttering again silly" She says

"Of course I was, I was just thinking is all" I say

"Well, while you were thinking 30 minutes has past and more people brought in captives."

I look around and see Kacchan and Todoroki standing in the circle of people.  "Who did you both snatch?" I ask

"None of your fucking business ner-" Kacchan was cut off by Todoroki, "Kaminari and Shinsou" Todoroki says, unfazed.

Why in the world those two were together I have no clue but it seemed to work in out favor so I wont complain about it.

"I see you got some of the extras form UA" Kacchan starts

"You always love to pick a fight there my dearest Kacchan.  Those two just happened to fall right into my trap.  Basic manipulation tactics and just like that, I bring in two captives in one day.  Did I forget to mention single-handedly." I'm right in his face now.  I want him to know I'm better then him and I'm not the child deku anymore. 

"Yo, hand job!" Kacchan yells to shiggy, ignoring my previous statement.

Shiggy glares to Kacchan clearly unappreciative of the new nickname, "Yes?" He says in his scratchy voice

"What the fuck do you even plan on doing with these damn extras.  You're going to have a crap ton of people after everyone gets their hostage?"

"Not everyone needed to get one.  It was really only you three that I wanted to test."

I perk up, what does crusty mean by that?  I look to Kurogiri for a further explanation. 

Kurogiri starts as if he was waiting for this to happen, "You see, Shigaraki here wanted to test to see if you three were loyal or were capable to do this simple task.  Everyone else already proved themselves."

Of course shiggy pulled a stunt like that.  No wonder the others were so laid back about all this, they didn't have to freaking do it.

"But the pro freaking hero here is loyal?" I say, I don't trust that mans a villain and I don't trust Kacchan and Todoroki as villains either.

"The pro here has history with some of the leagues members" Dabi says

I look around and it seems like Todorokis deep in thought.  I'll confront him about some of my thoughts later.  I just need to separate him from Kacchan.  Todoroki and Dabi are too similar and both vague as ever. 

I look from Todoroki's eyes to Dabi's.  Those two have the same dead eyes, one deep in thought, the other zoned out looking off in the distance.

Those two are eerily similar...

"Yo, what's with the awkward silence?" Hawks says as he enters the building.

"Dumb ass, what the fuck are you doing here during the day?" Shiggy says irritated at hawks

"Relax scratchy, it's not like anyone saw me. I made sure. I just want to know what my next job is."

"Ugh" shiggy sighs, "get his file Kirogiri"

Kurogiri disappears and returns with a vanilla folder and hand it to Hawks.

"Try and gather the information listed in here and report back same time and place as normal, got it?"

"When have I ever stirred you guys wrong". Hawks responds

"Yeah yeah, and don't get caught!" Shiggy retorts

"I think that goes without saying" Hawks says as he leaves

The interaction was very serious yet still friendly. Shiggy trusts Hawks to do the job right, probably from the years of Hawks working for them. How long have they been operating together?

"Now as for the rest of you" Shiggy says addressing everyone here, then turning to address me, "Deku?"

"Hm?" I say in question

"You're good at torture, right?"

"I can get the information I need from people, who's the target?" I say, not paying attention to the others in the room. This conversation is all business now.

"Now that we have our 'guests' here. We can get information on UA and the activities and events. If that doesn't seem like too much for you too handle"

"Shiggy, it's me your talking too" I say back

"I'm aware it's you, that why I'm wondering"

"I'll be able to do it"

"Ok then, Todoroki" now turning his attention to todoroki, "you will also be with Deku and getting information. With that quirk of yours it shouldn't be too difficult to make people talk."

Todoroki nods his head in response

"Shiggy" I say, "how much space can we take up for this?"

"If a rooms empty use it, use your brain here Deku, if not you may be the one being tortured". He responds

Well that was aggressive

Anyway, I go over to where Todoroki is standing and we head to where the captives are. Opening the door, four eager faces look to see who has entered the room.

Their faces grow sour and some look away.  If they hate us now they are certainly not going to like what's next.

Todoroki enters the room behind me and leans against the wall next to the door.

"So I'm guessing you all don't want to be separated from each other?" I say

"Like hell were being separated!" Uraraka snaps at me, "first you trick us in here, then you capture more of us! You are one sick bastard Deku! And your no better Todoroki! We trusted you and now this happend. I thought you were on our side".

Her voice grows somber probably thinking of all the 'fun' times they had together as classmates. I could use this against them.

Urarakas's now crying and the other students are comforting her. It's weird, watching people support each other. It would be nic-

I can't be thinking like that, I'm back on the streets, a lone shark. I don't need anyone in my life and that is that.

I look to todoroki. We make eye contact and I move my eyes to the group then back to him signaling for him to use his quirk to freeze their feet in place.

He gives me a look back of confusion.

Gosh darn it. I forget this one is very bad at understanding these things.

I do a small hand motion and mouth the words, 'freeze them'

He figures it out and freezes the ground where they stand, causing them to stay in place.

"Great, now that that's done" I say using the key to open the lock to the cell.

"ok now," I turn to todoroki, "I'm going to need you to unfreeze them one at a time so I can move them"

He nods and goes to where tsuyu is standing, un freezing her and as soon as she becomes loose I put a knife to her throat and have her walk with me to the room over.
