3 weeks later

i grabbed my coat and walked outside into the fresh air of Los Angeles, California. these past weeks i haven't eaten or talked to anyone. knowing that the person you fell in love with was cheating on you behind your back all these years feels very awful. it gets to you, i had bags under my eyes my hair was ways in a messy bun and i looked awful. I was walking to the cafe when i tripped but someone caught me just in time. "im so sorry" i whispered. "it's alright" by the voice it was a boy. i tucked some of my hair behind my ear and was about to walk away when the boy grabs me. ""hey what's wrong you seem sad?" the boy places his finger on my chin and looks at me. he had gorgeous brown eyes with soft quiffed brown hair, he looked like cameron dallas. i couldn't hold it anymore, tears escaped my eyes. "no no don't cry here lets go" he cooed and so i went with him. he could be a kidnapper but i really didn't care i just couldn't think right now. he led me to this black range rover and i got in. he looked at me strangely, he was studying my face. "wait your haley grace dallas" he smiled. "yes" i sniffled. "baby what's wrong?" and he wrapped his arms around me. "it's a long story" i chuckled. "i got time it's a long way to my apartment" he smiled. "well it all started 3 weeks ago when i went to the vmas-" and he interrupted "you looked gorgeous and you sang
so angelic" he winked. i laughed and said thank you. "anyways i went to the vmas with my bestfriend because my boyfriend well ex boyfriend matthew espinosa never showed up. i texted him this-" and i showed him the text message. "and so a few minutes later i got this message-" and i showed him the other one. "a few days later after that it was all over twitter pictures of matthew and a girl kissing and he was all over her. he called and said he could explain so he told me all this gibberish about how she got onto him but since a few days before the vmas he literally ignored me and never talked to me, never kissed me before, always slept on the couch" i choked out. "im so sorry-" he whispered. "it's alright...so then a few days after him talking gibberish of how he was sorry and she got on him, he texted me this long paragraph that he has been cheating on me with this girl named brittany angel since we been dating" i managed to get this all out of me. cameron grabbed me and rubbed my shoulders and back. "it's alright baby girl, matt one of my best friends actually has the guts to do that. this kid is gonna get a beating when we get to my apartment" he said and laughed. i froze. "wait-cameron no no no im not going to be in the same place as matthew what if that brittany girl is there no" i said. "if she's there we can beat her ass together!" he screamed. i laughed.
"and just ignore that asshole i call my best friend okay?" he smiled. "okay" and this was the first time i really smiled since a very long time ago.

ten minutes later

we arrived at the apartment and i got out the car with cameron by me. "purple pancakes r life" i screamed. i then see nash coming down the driveway and he squints to see who i am. "HALEY?!?!" he screams. "NASH" i imitated him. "POPCORN" cameron screams and we all run to each other and give each other a group hug. "i missed my cuddle bear haven't seen you in two years ago" nash smiled. "well i missed you too and everything but im really hungry so can we go inside and eat food i like food" i screamed and ran inside. "hails door is over here" he pointed to a door. "whoops i knew that" i blushed and ran to that door. their house was huge but mine was bigger. *sashays away and flips hair* i found the kitchen and i looked before i went in, and there was matthew. seriously this ruined everything. ah who gives a shit cameron said to ignore him and that's what im gonna do. i walked in and made my way to the cabinet "purple pancakes!" i screamed and grabbed some pancake mix. i grabbed my purple food color. aw snap! i looked at the corner of my eye and see matthew staring at me in shock. "haley" he whispered. he came closer to me. "ew ya got the cooties get away!" i screamed. he was close to smiling but got serious again. "baby i missed you" he grabs me and hugs me. i push away and scream "horton hears a bitch ass lie!" shit haley you is on a role today!
cameron and nash run in the kitchen and laugh then stop. "whoops did we interrupt something?" cameron and nash say. "me slaying matt" i winked. matt just stood there like a lost puppy. nash and cameron laughed and got out the kitchen. "can i please explain?" matt said. "who do you think you are? espinosa there's nothing to explain! you plain cheated on me you explained it all in that text. ya know some people aren't just meant for each other and i guess that's us" i started to cry. "no no don't cry" he whispered and used his thumb to brush my tears off. "it's just matt i thought we were gonna have a future together but you end up go cheating on me" i sniffled.
"haley baby i was a stupid ass jerk. if didn't care. making all these mistakes help me improve on being a wonderful boyfriend and hopefully future husband. baby i may not show it but in in love with you. it took me time to realize i loved you. i am in love with you haley. your my world and if you can give me a second chance i will try my best to make you the happiest girl in the world" he has tears in my eyes. and here goes haley the nice one that's gonna hug matthew now. instead he leaned in and i leaned in and our lips touched we both smiled into the kiss. "i love you" he said. "i love you too" i said. i hugged him and screamed "now come one lets make dem purple pancakes!" he laughed and we both got aprons and made purple pancakes.
