Chapter 1- Leaving for Kings Cross

"Mum! Dad! Wake Up! Wake Up!" Eleven year old Rose Weasly yelled jumping up and down on Hermione and Ron Weasly's bed. Hermione slowly woke up and smiled at her daughter. Though her husband was a different story. He crumpled and threw the yellow sheets over his head and went back to snoring. But that didn't stop Rose she was prepared! She grabbed the glass of water from the nightstand on her father's side and ripped the sheets off his head. Before her father could grumble again she threw the glass of water in his face. Ron quickly sat up sputtering and jumping out of bed yelling, "Bloody hell!"  

"Rose! You know better!" her mother scolded her. Though Hermione was having a hard time holding back her giggles. Rose just grinned to herself.  

" Well it's September 1st! We have to get to Kings Cross!" Rose exclaimed excitedly jumping up and down on the bed where her father had been sleeping. Ronald entered the room again and gave his daughter a scolding look. But then Rose put on her innocent puppy face and said, "Sorry Daddy!" Ron smiled and decided to let this go.  

Hugo soon came in wearing his quidditch themed pj's. They were white covered in bludgers , quaffles , snitches , and brooms. He was carrying his pet toad named Alex and was running a hand through his strawberry-blond hair. Hugo was too grumbling about to much noise and no breakfast on the table downstairs. Hermione greeted her nine year old son with a sweet ' Good morning sweetie. '  

" All right! Everyone out of mommy and daddy's bedroom. We will be down in a bit. Rose,dear, what time is it? " Hermione asked as she got up and slipped on a white fluffy robe.  

Rose checked her blue wrist watch and declared the time as 8 o'clock sharp. She grabbed Hugo's arm and dragged him out if the room and down the cream spiral staircase into the kitchen. Hugo still wasn't talking to her. He was pretty ticked off that she got to go to Hogwarts 2 years before him. Rose grabbed a box of juggle cereal called, Captain Crunch. She got two red bowls from the cupboard and two green glasses. She quickly poured Hugo his cereal and adding his milk. "What drink?" she asked him. Hugo ignored her and got a glass of pumpkin juice for himself. She rolled her eyes and poured her cereal without milk. She bated milk. She also got herself some Pumpkin juice and ate her breakfast quickly.  

Their parents entered and got themselves a similar breakfast except with coffee. Her father was reading the Daily Prophet. Her mother was writing back to a few people. One of witch was her auror partner Draco Malfoy. Another was Luna Lovegood. The last was Hogwarts herbology professor, Neville Longbottom. Rose finished her breakfast a few minutes after Hugo. Her mom saw and said, "Go make sure you've packed everything and go get dressed. Hurry up too, I wanna leave by 10." 

Rose obeyed and went to her room.  

She walked into her room. The walls were painted in a midnight blue color covered in posters of the Falmouth Falcons, her favorite juggle bands Maroon 5 and Evenesence, and pictures of mainly her with her two best friends Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Potter.She made sure she was packed and got dressed in a red t-shirt and black jeans paired with a leather jacket and red converse. She looked in the mirror and brushed her long stop sign red hair. She was pale almost Malfoy pale. She had big blue eyes and her hair reached 2 inches under her chest.  

She played around her room until 10 o'clock and went downstairs were she saw her mom forcing a jumper over Hugo's head. Her dad was laughing at the scene. Finally the yellow jumper was on and they left for Kings Cross Station in a green flying car.
