I laid out on the roof with the sun beaming on my face turning it red. Not a single cloud floated in the sky. I felt a bead of sweat run down the temple of my forehead.

"y/n! Hurry up we got what we need now let's get out of here!"

I climbed down the rundown pharmacy. It's been a year since the incident. It was the day everyone would always remember as the most tragic loss. My whole life was ruined that day I lost so many classmates, I lost my chance to become a pro hero and I lost contact to all of my other classmates. I haven't talked to any of them since that day. A month after the incident my family and I were out of supplies in the house so we left our boarded place and we tried getting some but my mother and sister didn't make it and a Nomu  attacked my mother and me and my sister ran for it but a hoard of zombies got her. Villians roam freely now and do as they please and Nomus are wondering freely. Let's not forget zombies that are still able to use their quirks. We have Zones that are cleared by pro hero's where we can leave peacefully inside huge walls without having a fear of being attacked. I live in zone 9. We go in groups to look for supplies for within the walls.

"Y/n come on we go to go!"

"Yeah, yeah I'm coming!"

Hitoshi Shinso. He had messy indigo hair that flares out with dark eye bags under his eyes. He went to UA too which was werid because I never saw him before. He was the one who showed me zone 9 when I was wondering by myself after losing my mother and sister.

"You know how y/n is always zoning out and stuff I think it's cute!"

Yo Shindo. He was older than me. He is tall, muscular with shaggy black hair. He was the like an older brother of the group he always made sure that we always come back together.

"Wait we can't leave yet I got to get more scrapes for my babies!"

Mei Hatsume. She also attended UA. She's always putting something together or building something to improve the life inside the zone. She made life in the zone so much more bearable.

"You have enough now let's go I don't like being outside too long..."

And lastly Tamaki Amajiki. He was also a student at UA in his third year. He was part of the big three back then. He is extremely shy and aloof. Huge introvert but he always kept an eye on us. We grabbed our bags and started heading towards the walls. We don't go far since it's more dangerous when the sun sets and the moon takes place in the sky. That's when more of the criminal activity occurs more.

"Hey y/n! I'll race you to the gate!"

"Ooooo you are on!"

Shindo always makes the best out of situations and tries to lighten up the situation and he always makes me forget my problems.

"Guyyssss I can't run I got too much stuff to carryyyy!"

"It's because you have all that unnecessary parts."

"HEY! These unnecessary parts are for my babies Shinso!"

"Can y'all be a little more quieter you never know who or what is listening..."

We arrive in the wall and were greeted by Aizawa and another pro hero. He takes are findings and Aizawa pats my head.

"Good work today. Glad you all made it one piece oh and y/n dinner is ready."

Oh yeah I also live with Aizawa now. He took me in when I first arrived in the zone. I waved goodbye to my group and headed home. Everyday we have a group go look for supplies and survivors. Majority of the time when groups go out they end up loosing someone. Ever since this apocalypse started I lost so many people in my life and witness so many deaths. I wanted to be a pro hero but now all I wanted to do was to survive and take back what was ours.

"I've came in contact with All might today he isn't doing well since he's retirement."

I stared at my plate and played with my food. When the attack of UA happened even All might wasn't able to do anything and showed his true form and he went into retirement after that. It was the day the Symbol of peace was finally defeated. All hope was lost since that day even other hero's causing them to step down. It was every man for themselves. We had people like Aizawa who still tended to those who needed it but mainly stayed in their zones.

"I also talked to Fatgum and Gran torino while visiting All Might they said they are a step closer in the investigation they followed a Nomu into an abandoned factory and found where they were begin made but we are still missing some information on how they are able to make the boys quirk last so long."

I stuffed my face while I listened to Aizawa. He always talks about everything he finds out and it helps me out with my own investigation on finding the League of Villians. One day I swear I will free us from these walls once again when hero's are looked up to and this whole nightmare will come to an end.

"Thank you for the food!"

I placed my plate down in the sink and ran to my room and locked my door. I always feel bad for not talking as much at dinner but I just try to hurry up and eat so I can continue my secret research. I unlocked my desk drawer and pulled the false board out and grabbed my map and notes. As I was pulling out my stuff a photo slipped out and fell on the ground. I bend down and picked it up and it was a class photo of 1-A. I was on the verge of tears not knowing if any of them are still alive or turned into zombies. If only I could go back time and stop all of this. What a shitty world we live in. Everyday we stray away from the light and fall into the darkness. A powerful quirk falling into the wrong hands. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard small taps at my window. I quickly put my notes and map away and ran to the window and Shinso was standing there. He was a night owl like Aizawa and I.

"Jeez you scared the hell out of me!"

He chuckled and climbed into my window.

"What scared that you got caught with something?"

"What! no-"

Shit I fall for it every time.

"Turn around and show me what you were hiding."

Damnit by does he always get in my business! I unwilling did as he asked and placed the notes in front of him. Everything felt dazed and my body felt numb. He looked through my notes and my map.

"The location of the Leauge of villains is near Zone 6 huh but you still haven't been able to pinpoint a location yet huh?"

He tapped my shoulder enough to snap me out of my trance.

"Yeah... He gave my more information today about Fatgum and Gran torino following a Nomu to an abandoned factory."

He nodded taking in the information. I started from the beginning and told him everything I knew so far which wasn't a lot and a lot of things were still missing.

"This is something that you won't be able to do alone I'll help you."

My eyes widen surprised he was in to help in such a reckless mission.

"Wait YOU want to help me find the League and put a end in all of this?"

He shrugged his shoulders.

"Why not we got nothing to lose plus I don't want to see you get hurt... I can't lose you."

My face begin to warm up towards his words and I started to fake cough.

"You ain't gonna lose me I'm the strongest here I'm gonna be the one protecting you!"

He playfully rolled his eyes and smiled. He doesn't smile much but when he does it makes my heart skip a beat.

"So where should we start first?"

"I think we should visit Fatgum in zone 4 tomorrow and get information off him."

"Y/n you know Aizawa won't let you go that far alone."

"I know! That's why I have a plan!"

He gave me a worried look andddd he has every right to be whenever I have 'plans' they never really fall through but this time I got luck on my side. Tomorrow we got a long way so I might as well start preparing tonight.

"See you in the morning Shinso!"

Little did we know someone was listening to our whole conversation.
