Monday

"Hola classe. Hello class."

Mrs. Bender- our 8th grade Spanish teacher.

"This weeks dance is, Salsa!!" She announced.

"Can we have partners from other classes?"

Mrs. Bender looked to the back of the room to find the direction of the voice.

"Yes, you may."

Tuesday

RING~

Time for seminar. (Y/N) walked up to Callette to discuss the dance.

"We don't know how to salsa, do we?" (Y/N) asked.

"No, we don't." They laughed.

"We'll just look it up."

Everyone in the seminar room was walking around, having their own conversations.

Of course, hunter wandered around.

The girls started to learn the dance.

"Hey (Y/N), I think you're doing the move wrong." Hunter said walking up to the girl staring at her feet.

"What? No I'm not."  (Y/N) looked up at the boy.

"Lemme show you." Hunter took her hands in his and placed them on his shoulders.

'Oh my god. Sweet Jesus...'

Hunter smiled and they both watched their feet as hunter guided.

She stumbled a couple of times and started to get the hang of it.  They unintentionally moved closer. He held onto her hips a little tighter.

'Here comes the dip.  Don't do it. Don't do it.'

Hunter dipped the girl and looked into her eyes.

'What the hell, since when did my life turn into a romance movie.'

(Y/N) stood up and stepped away.

"Way better." Hunter complimented.

"Yeah, I'm pretty good at everything." (Y/N) shyly looked back to the computer that displayed the tutorial for the dance.

"You done flirting? Can I have my partner back!" Callette laughed.

"Whatever." Hunter said in defense.

(Y/N) and Callette danced and laughed at themselves. They started to get the hang of it, but it was clear they needed more practice.

After a while of dancing, they took a seat and talked for a little. (Y/N) worked on a little of her math homework for the next day while she ate crackers.

"Chloe!!!"

"Hey Chloe!"

"Hii Chloe!!"

(Y/N) snapped her head towards the door.

The girl wore big round glasses, but she made them look good. Short brown hair that stopped just at her shoulders. The ends of her hair were highlighted blonde. She was pretty. Naturally tanned. She had on an oversized hoodie and black leggings. Her bag hung loose over her shoulders.

"Hi guys!" She turned to the class and waved to everyone.

She was a popular girl. Don't let her looks deceive you. If she didn't think you were cool, then you weren't. Period.

(Y/N) watched her walk up to the teachers desk. She felt embarrassed everyone else knew her except her.

'Why does she look so... familiar??'

Hunter walked up to her. He stood right beside her.

"Can I stay to work on a dance for Spanish class?" She asked Dr. Hammill.

"Yeah, I don't care."

Chloe and Hunter walked to a desk diagonal from (Y/N) and Callette. Hunter sat beside her and teased her. They laughed every now and then.

(Y/N) watched the way he talked to her. She watched his eyes. His body language. Then it hit her.

'You're the girl he was sitting beside at the auditorium. Hmmm...  Chloe...'

Hunter and Chloe got up in the middle of the floor and began to salsa.

'Why is he touching her? Stop talking to her! Stop.'

She could feel her blood boiling. Fists clenched on the desk. Ready to kill. She saw his smile, that smile belonged to her. The lips that were able to showcase that same smile, her lips. He belonged to her. She wouldn't let this Chloe girl try to take him away. She wouldn't. Every time his fingers trailed Chloes hips, (Y/N)'s glare became more sinister. That only gave (Y/N) more time. Dear lord, have mercy.

RING ~

Everyone in the seminar room stood up and began to pack their bags. They walked out of the room. (Y/N )'s normal group of people she walked with to lunch hurried beside her.

Callette

Gracie

Hannah

Lyric

Lincoln

Hunter

(Y/N) was annoyed. She watched Chloe go to her next class when she cut the corner.

'1....2.....3-'

"Hey you okay?" Callette asked, grabbing (Y/N)'s attention.

"Yeah? All good!" She responded with a smile.

"I bet she didn't like me touching Chloe." Hunter piped up from the back.

(Y/N) stopped for a moment and chuckled.

"You guys supposed to teach your class the dance Friday?" She asked not looking at him.

"Yeah...?"

"Be a shame if she couldn't come to school." (Y/N) smiled, looking ahead.

Everyone laughed. "You tryna tell the future or something like that?" Hunter asked. Everyone laughed again, including (Y/N).

"Yeah.... something like that." Her sentence trailed off as they entered the cafeteria.
