The Beginning

Ruby's POV 

him....... My adopted brother.Gosh, that was big scare.

''Hey, dinner is ready'' Aden said 

I just nodded my head.I care about my family I really do but I don't love them. I can't bring myself to do it. I'm just to damaged.I have died everyday since then.When dinner finished I headed up to my room.My room was decorated red and black. It was mysterious with no posters or pictures.Blank just like my heart. I dreaded tomorrow. Why? Its the day half our pack will find their mate. I chuckled at the thought of the poor loser that was stuck with Jason, the alpha's son. I already hated tomorrow. I didn't want a mate.With this last thought I closed my eyes and drifted into a peaceful sleep. On my way to school I can already feel the excitement of many students.It sickens me. Some how I felt drawn to something. A sweet, intoxicating smell filled my nose. As I turned in the direction from which it came from I lock eyes with Jason.

''Mine'' growled my wolf 

Shit. Shit. Shit. As soon as my wolf saw him. She took over and dragged me to the depths of my mind.My eyes turned black and she got control.Shit. Next thing I know I was running towards him. Everyone stopped what they were doing to look. Retards. I leaped into his strong muscular arms.He seemed shocked but later responded and his arms tighten my embrace. He must know it was my wolf. I pulled back only to stare into his dazzling eyes. With a blink of an eye I kissed him. Stupid. Stupid wolf! The kiss was passionate sparks flew and butterflies took over. We fought for dominance. He won. He explored my mouth like an pirate who just found treasure. That very moment my heart let out a single beat. The kiss ended and my wolf was still en charge. But as soon as his hand touched me. A fire sprung to life. Love. Happy with her actions my wolf gave me back my body and my black eyes turned green.This can't be fucking happening! I'm not going to turn in to my mom! I can't ! But I love ...............

Jason's POV

I was absent yesterday to school. I had to help my dad attend some duties. The whole pack was buzzing about what Ruby did to Claire. Ruby was beautiful devil. Today is the day I find my mate but honestly I didn't want one. I am playboy. Motto: Hump and dump. I play with girls like I play football. But Ruby would be an expectation if we ever went out of course I will never admit it. She is worse than me. She is a storm and I'm a rainy day. As soon as her car pulled in the parking lot I was fascinated. Our eyes found each other..... 

''Mine'' my wolf and I said. But of course she didn't notice.I was shocked at what came next.She was running towards me. Eyes as black as her car. Her wolf was in control. She jumped into my arms and I was suddenly awaken. How did I EVER live with out her. Her sweet skilled lips overtook mine. I knew then I can't leave her. She pulled back eyes still black. I touched her arm and sparks flew. God I'm so whipped. She came back to me. Her beautiful face deep in thought. First step of the mating course. Check! Everyone was confused and shocked.My angel turned around and stormed off ! Still taken back I watch as she runs away. No! She is mine! I followed her to her house where she stopped at the door step and broken down crying. The clouds darken and rain fell. OK weird ..... it was just sunny. I acted on instinct and comfort her.

''Stop! You deserve better. Please leave me ?'' She wispered

'' No I can't do any of that. I need you"

"Trust me. I'm damaged goods''

''All I heard was goods'' I winked at her 

'' You don't understand''

'' Then help me understand'' and the story began. I was full of fury. How could this happen! I didn't notice I punched the wall leaving a hole; until she let out another cry. 

'' You are not your mom. Ruby I love you already.I know deep down there is a girl who cares. Please."

I was too focused on my beautiful angel. I didn't hear the shot. Hunters. I fell to the ground.

''I love...........''

Ruby's POV

''No!" I cried as I set my eyes on my love.

'' I will kill you all!" and I did. I ripped them into shreds. Kill them with no misery. When the pack arrive all they saw was a massacre. Bodies everywhere.I was soaked in blood and Jason on the ground. I ran to him and cried and yelled. I had to be ripped of him. I am now in the hospital siting besides him. His parent rushed in and I took a defensive stand.

''Jason!'' cryed his mother

''So your his mate'' His dad said 

'' How dare you let the hunters into our territory! If he dies I will kill you all!'' I didn't care if he was the alpha 

''Why? God?? Why?? I love him!! No No No! Please bring him back" I broke down crying.

'' Ruby'' Jason whispered

'' Jason! Please don't leave me! I accept you as my mate just please!! I love you.''

''You can't get rid of me even if you wanted to.I mean look at me I'm too sexy to reject"

I completely forgot about his parents.Which were now standing quietly by us.The elders rushed in and I am so confused. Why are they here? 

'' You my darling are the one.'' One of them said 

''What?'' 

They bowed at me everyone.What the hell?? 

''Ruby do you accept...............................................................''
