"you look so
misunderstood."

We arrived in somewhere in Norway. It was nice, closer to the sea, a little chilly though, it was named New Asgard. A load of people stared at us as we got off the truck.

"Kind of a step down from the golden palaces and the magic hammers and whatnot." Rocket commented.
"I know, right?" I agreed.
"Hey, have a little compassion, guys. First, they lost Asgard, then half their people. They're probably just happy to have a home." Bruce scolded.

"You shouldn't have come!" We heard, I turned around and saw this beautiful goddess (literally) of a woman. "Ah! Valkyrie! Great to see you, angry girl!" Bruce yelled.
"I think I liked you better either of the other ways." She shook her head.
"Me too." I nodded.
"And me." Rocket raised his hand.

"This is Rocket, and this is Rosanna." Hulk introduced us. I waved and did a cheesy smile. WHY DID I DO THAT. She smiled at me.
"How ya doing?" Rocket smirked, leaning against a basket. Valkyrie gave him a weird look.
"He won't see you." She told us.
"It's that bad, huh?" Bruce asked.
"We only see him once a month when he comes in for 'supplies'." She pointed to the crates of beers. "Son of a bitch!" I gasped.
"It's that bad." Bruce sighed.
"Yeah." She nodded.

We knocked on his door and the door creaked open. "It smells like asshole." I gagged.
"What the...?" Rocket stuttered.
"Who died in here?" I asked.
"Something huge." He agreed.

"Hello? Thor?" Bruce called.
"Are you here about the cable?" Thor asked.
"Cable?" I asked Rocket.
"I'm as confused as you are, kid." He shrugged.
"I'm 21." I glared.
"Really? You look 14." He smirked.
"ha ha....ha" I rolled my eyes, sarcastically.

"The Cinemax went out two weeks ago...and the sports are all kinda fuzzy and whatnot." Thor explained as he picked up a bottle of beer.
"Thor?" Bruce asked.
He turned around and looked at us, he'd gained a stomach and his hair had grown back, his beard had grown really long.

"Boys!! Oh, my god!" Thor yelled.
"well, i actually am female" I shrugged.
"Oh, my God, it's so good to see you!" Thor yelled as he embraced Bruce. I was hidden behind Bruce because I was confused.
"Come here you little rascal." Thor laughed as he hugged Rocket.

"Zan? You ok?" Bruce whispered.
"Huh? I'm fine." I nodded.
"Come on, don't be scared." He whispered as he pulled me by my arm from behind him.Now I was back to be standing next to him. Thor saw me and his face had suddenly dropped.

"Rosanna?" He frowned, as he started touching my hair.
"Hey." I sighed with a faint smile.
"You let your hair go curly." tears pooled in his eyes. "Parker always liked my hair curly." I nodded.
"I'm sorry about that, Zanna. He seemed like a good mortal." He apologised.
"He was." I sighed.

"How old are you now? 21? 22?" He asked.
"I'm 21" I told him.
"you can drink with the boys now" He laughed.
"Yeah." I nodded. We stayed silent for a while, it was awkward so I broke the silence.
"So, who are these two? We haven't met." I asked.

"Oh these are my friends. Hulk, you remember Miek and Korg, right?" Thor smiled.
"Hey, guys!" Korg waved.
"Hey." I waved back. "Long time no see." Bruce smiledd.
"Beer's in the bucket. Feel free to long on to the Wi-Fi. No password, obviously." Korg told us.
I shrugged and grabbed a beer "well, if you're offering."

"Thor, he's back. That kid on the TV called me a dickhead again." Korg groaned.
"Noobmaster." Thor whispered in anger.
"Yeah, Noobmaster69 called me a dickhead."  Korg exclaimed as Thor strolled over to him and took his headset.
"Noobmaster, hey, it's Thor again. You know, the god of thunder. Listen, bud, if you don't log off this game immediately, I am going to fly over to your house, come down to that basement you're hiding in, rip off your arms and shove them up your but! Oh, that's right, yes! Go cry to your father you little weasel!" Thor yelled in anger.
I coughed to cover my laugh in response.

Me, Rocket and Bruce stood there shocked.
"Thank you, Thor." Korg smiled.
"Let me know if he bothers you again, okay?" Thor told him.
"Thank you very much, I will." Korg thanked.
"What just happened?" I asked Rocket.
"You got me." He shrugged.

"So guys want a drink? What are we drinking? I've got beer, tequila, all sorts of things." Thor explained, as he used his axe as a bottle opener for his beer.
"Thor, are you okay?" i asked.
"Yes, I'm fine. Why? Don't I look all right?" Thor asked.
"You look like melted ice cream." Rocket chuckled.
i spat my beer out "ouch!"

"So, what's up? You just here for a hang? Or what?" Thor asked.
"We need your help." Bruce explained.
"Mm." Thor  hummed.
"There might be a chance we could fix everything." Bruce told him.
"What, like the cable? Cause that's been driving me bananas for weeks." Thor asked.

"Like Thanos." Bruce interrupted.
Thor started to frown and he grabbed Bruce, I started to get really nervous. "Don't say that name." Thor cried.
"Um, yeah, we don't actually say that name in here." Korg muttered.

"Please take your hand off me." Bruce pleaded as he yanked Thor off of him.
Thor backed away and Rocket pulled me back a bit by my hand.

"Now I know that 'guy' might scare you." Bruce tried. "Why would i be...? Why would I be scared of that guy? I'm the one who killed that guy, remember?" Thor scoffed.

"Thor it's okay we want to help you." I told him.
"No, Zanna. I don't need help. I killed 'that guy' did anyone else here kill that guy?" He asked.
"Thor-" I started.
"Nope. Didn't think so." He cut me off.
"This was a mistake." I sighed, walking out.

"Rose, wait. We might be getting somewhere." Rocket stopped me, I agreed and went back.
"Korg? Why don't you, uh, tell everybody who chopped Thanos' big head off?" Thor asked.
"Um, Storm-breaker?" Korg asked.
"Who was swinging Stormbreaker?" Thor asked.

"I get it. You're in a rough spot, okay? I've been there myself. And you wanna know who helped me out of it?" Bruce asked.
"Was it Natasha?" Thor stuttered.
"It was you. You helped me." Bruce explained.

"So, why don't you ask the Asgardians down there how much my help means to them? What's left of them anyway." Thor sighed.
"I think we could bring them back." Bruce explained. "Stop. Stop, okay? I know you think I'm down here wallowing in my own self-pity waiting to be rescued and saved but I'm fine, okay. We're fine, aren't we?" Thor asked Korg and Miek.

"Oh, we're good here, mate." Korg nodded.
"So, whatever it is that you're offering, we're not into it. Don't care, couldn't care less." Thor shrugged.
I brought a chair to sit opposite Thor and looked into his eyes with a smile and said
"you know we could really use the help, plus it would make me feel a lot better." I knew that would work because he'd always been so passionate on cheering me up when I felt like dog shit.
Thor smiled at me weakly with tears in his eyes."Plus, there's beer on the ship." Rocket chimed in.
"Fine." Thor said.
