Felt the urge to start another fanfic
As George leaned back in his chair, pulling his headphones off his head slightly so the yelling downstairs became audible. He sighed; yanking them off fully and looking up at his ceiling. The song he was listening to blasted through his headphones that sat in his lap. He focused on the hollow music, lyrics flowing from the speaker, not quite loud enough to drown out the fighting.
"Lets fall in love for the night
And forget in the mornin'Play me a song that you like
You can bet i'll know every lineI'm the boy that your boy hoped that you would avoid
Don't waste your eyes on jealous guys,
Fuck that noiseI know better...
than to call you mine..."He hummed to the all too familiar melody, before hearing a loud crash downstairs. Ever since his father got laid off, his parents had been fighting more and more to the point it was deafening if he got too close. His mom was constantly looking for a stable place of income, but she could never find one that dad agreed to try. George pulled the headphones back over his ears, subduing the chaos that inflicted his household. He leaned forward again, resting his face on his arm. The song switched after ending, and George slowly left his desk and went to the window. He opened it, leaning outside to look down at the street. It was empty; minus the few stray cats here and there. In the corner of his eye, he swore he saw something move further down the street, but he didn't bother looking closer at it. He yawned, softly shutting the window. The noise downstairs had become softer for the time being, so George took the opportunity to get some sleep. He flopped onto his bed, immediately burying himself in the warmth of his covers.
When he awoke, he immediately knew it was still dark outside. He rolled over, checking his phone. It was 4am. George removed his headphones and sat up, listening carefully to the creaks of the house. He could hear soft whispers downstairs, which was unusual due to the time, but he felt his blood run cold when he realized there wasn't just two voices murmuring: there were multiple.
Before he had time to process this, he heard two pairs of footsteps heading up the stairs. Panicking, he ran for his window, fumbling with the lock. Behind him, his bedroom door banged open, and he heard people running towards him. He finally shoved open the window and pulled himself out. Yelling echoed through his ears as he eased his legs out over the edge. Before he could pull out his other leg, however, he felt someone grab it. He tried to scream, but the adrenaline in his veins wouldn't let him utter a mere gasp. He was yanked back inside, his back making impact with the wooden floor. A sharp pain shot through his body as he felt two pairs of hands grab his arms and restrain them behind his back.
Finally coming to his senses, George let out an ear piercing scream before someone shoved a cloth into his mouth and slapped a piece of thick tape over it. He squirmed in the strangers grasp, desperately trying to break free as they dragged him downstairs and out the front door. His mind begged for his parents to come save him, yet no one came. He was shoved into the trunk of a car as if he was mere baggage. Wet tears stained his face as the intensity of the situation slowly settled in.
He was being kidnapped.
He tried to remember all the news coverage he'd seen of victims escaping their captors, trying to think of some way to get himself out of this trunk. His blood pumped as he used his free legs to kick at the trunk, but to no avail. Horrified at the truth of being stuck, he let out a sob muffled by the gag in his mouth. He prayed his parents would realize he was missing and search for him.
George used his feet to grasp around the back of the car, finding useless objects like empty chip bags and CDs. He managed to prop himself up and scoot into the corner of the car, able to do nothing but wait for the unknown fate that lay before him.
When the car finally stopped, he heard several people get out. Many seemed to walk away from the vehicle while he heard a single pair of footsteps approach the back of the car, opening the trunk. When George looked up to see his captor, he was horrified not to see a face, but a grinning mask looking back at him; something out of a horror movie. He let out a whimper as he backed further into the trunk, as if he would be able to get away from the man. Of course, his kidnapper grabbed him by the legs and pretty much slung him over his shoulder like a burlap sack. George tried to kick and scream, but the tape over his mouth prevented him from making a peep. He took in his surroundings; completely barren land with no sign of any other life nearby.
"Fucking great."
George thought to himself, his small flame of hope growing dimmer by the second. The mysterious man approached a large building that reminded him of a warehouse.
As the door to the building opened, he used the last of his strength to knee the man in the ribs. He gasped, loosing his grip on George. He dropped him, and the brunette made a mad dash for the fields, his raspy muffled voice screaming out for someone to help him. He didn't even make it to the outskirts of the field before a loud swish sound and felt a sharp pain in his calf. He lost his balance and tumbled into a ditch. He looked down at his leg to see a knife lodged into it. He felt dizzy from the impact where he hit his head. He heard footsteps approaching him and felt his head spin. He couldn't breath and the world felt like it was closing in. The last thing he say before everything went dark, was the masked man bending down over him.
