She-cat - Female cat.
She-kit - Female kit (kitten)
Tom - Male cat.
Kit - Kitten; Less than 6 months old.
Apprentices - A cat training to become a warrior; At least 6 months old.
Mentor - A warrior [or leader] training an apprentice.
Warriors - A full member of a clan.
Queens - A pregnant she-cat or a cat nursing kits.
Elders - Old, retired warriors.
Medicine cat - Healers of a clan; Has a close relationship with Starclan.
Deputy - Second in command; organizes patrols and hunting parties.
Leader - Most important cat in clan. Has nine lives and always ends with -star. Leads the clan and does ceremonies.
Littermate(s) - A cats' siblings.
Fresh-kill - Recently killed prey.
Crow-food - Rotting prey.
Sunningrocks - A lot of large rocks near the river; Previously RiverClan hunting territory, now ThunderClans [in this book].
Highstones - The mountains.
Gathering - A sacred meeting with all four clans, in which, they have a truce for the rest of the night. Meets at every full moon at the fourtrees (forest territory).
Kittypet - A housecat.
Loner - A cat who is not in a clan, but they live outside of the clans in peace.
Rogue - A hostile cat who is not in a clan.
Sharing tongues - Grooming/cleaning of each other.
Silverpelt - The milky way.
Twolegs - Humans.
Thunderpath - A road.
Monster - A car.
Twolegplace - A town/neighborhood.
Twoleg nest - A house.
Sunhigh - Noon.
Sundown - When the sun sets; Sunset
Moonrise - When the moon starts to rise.
Moonhigh - Midnight.
Quarter-moon - A week.
Moon -A month.
Newleaf - Spring.
Greenleaf - Summer.
Leaf-fall - Fall/Autumn
Leaf-bare - Winter
Kittenstep - Less than an inch.
Mouselength - About an inch.
Rabbitlength/Taillength - About a foot.
Foxlength - About a yard.
Whitecough - Mild chest infection; Similar to a cold, but not a cold.
Greencough - Severe chest infection; Similar to pneumonia.
Blackcough - Fatal sickness; Most cats who have it, die.
Starclan - Where good cats go when they die, living in a constant state of Greenleaf until they are forgotten, they can also travel into certain cats' dreams; Basically cat Heaven.
The Dark Forest - Where bad cats go when they die, they can go to any cats' dreams; Basically cat Hell.
Foxdung - Strong insult.
Mousebrain - Insult, but not as strong as Foxdung.
Mousebrained - A way of calling someone dumb.
