The wind howled as the ThunderClan patrol game back from the fight. Featherheart looked up and saw that lots of dark clouds were coming. It was so cold that in the spots where the WindClan cats ripped her fur off, she was very cold there.

Mosstooth rushed those with serious injuries to her den first. The sun looked like it was going to set in a few hours. Redstar hopped up onto the Highrock. Her nose was still bleeding as well.

Redstar called the Clan meeting and watched as the ThunderClan cats sat beneath the Highrock. Featherheart was worried about that nasty gash on the bridge of Redstar's nose. It was bleeding badly, but Redstar didn't seem to care.

"As most of you know, we won the Owl Tree back, so we will need a border patrol to renew our scent markings. Anyway, I am very happy that we were able to retrieve our hunting grounds back." Redstar meowed. She then leapt off of the rock and limped over to the medicine cat's den. Mosstooth saw the gash on Redstar's nose and winced. Mosstooth led Redstar into her den.

Featherheart, Sharpleaf, and Sandydusk were visibly worried about her. Sharpleaf sprinted over to the den and headed inside to check on his leader. Sandydusk and Featherheart followed him.

Featherheart looked inside of the den and saw that there was a deep wound on the bridge of Redstar's nose. Mosstooth put cobweb on it and then made a mixture of herbs to put on it as well. Sharpleaf sat next to his leader and licked her ear to comfort her. Featherheart saw the blood stop spewing out, but it left a deep scar on Redstar's nose.

Mosstooth grabbed some herbs that stop infections and mixed them together. Mosstooth then applied it to the wound. "I'm sorry, Redstar. This is the best I can do, but it looks as if you will have that scar forever.' Mosstooth mewed as she licked Redstar's ear. Redstar sighed and headed back to her den, wearily.

It wasn't even sunset, but Redstar looked like she was going to go to sleep. Sharpleaf sat up and walked out of the den. Featherheart watched what he was doing. Sharpleaf looked like he was assigning patrols. Thorntail asked Sharpleaf something. Featherheart fixed her ear to hear what Thorntail was saying.

"Can me and Snowfoot go on a hunting patrol?" Thorntail asked. Sharpleaf thought about it for a second. "Sure, just be safe." He meowed. Thorntail nodded. Snowfoot nuzzled Thorntail and the two cats walked to the fresh-kill pile to share some prey.

Featherheart padded out of the medicine cat's den and went to the fresh-kill pile to get some prey. Featherheart grabbed a fat mouse and carried it over to where Shadowstalk was cleaning himself.

"Would you like to share some fresh-kill with me?" Featherheart asked. Shadowstalk stopped cleaning himself and nodded. Featherheart smiled and placed down the fat mouse to share with Shadowstalk.

Featherheart looked up from her shared meal and saw that Sharpleaf was sneaking out of the back exit of camp. Featherheart was confused. Why is Sharpleaf sneaking out of the back exit of camp? Where is he going and what is he doing? Featherheart thought to herself. Featherheart sighed and continued to eat the mouse.

After the mouse was nothing but bones, Featherheart and Shadowstalk shared tongues. The clearing was full of cats sharing tongues as the sun set. Featherheart felt a warm feeling in her body as Shadowstalk groomed her.

Soon, the ThunderClan cats went back to their dens to sleep. As the moon started to rise, it was extremely cold outside of the dens. Dark gray clouds began to cover the sky. The wind was howling. Featherheart quickly ran to the warrior's den, but when she reached it, she heard rustling from some bushes near the secret exit of ThunderClan, where Sharpleaf left.

Featherheart twisted her head to see Sharpleaf sneaking back in. Featherheart quickly settled down into her moss bedding and closed her eyes. She heard the footsteps on Sharpleaf as he padded into the den. Featherheart opened one eye and saw that Sharpleaf was smiling as he nestled into his bedding.

Featherheart also saw Snowfoot and Thorntail huddled close together for warmth. Featherheart looked at the nest beside her and saw Shadowstalk. She wished she could sleep next to him for warmth. Featherheart shut her eyes and went to sleep.
