After 30 minutes he was finally here. He's always late so what did I expect.. I got in the car, closed the door and said
"Hey, thanks for-" but he interrupted me and yelled
"WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO YOUR EYE?!"
His voice got so deep and protective.
I looked out of the window, took a deep breath and tried not to cry. But I couldn't hold it back and a tear rolled down my face. When he saw that I started crying he hugged me and tried to comfort me. I needed his hug.
We just sat there for a while until I said:
"Can we please go now? I really want to watch the movie. What movie did you even get?"
He said "That's a surprise." And started driving.
We drove for 30 minutes and when we were at his house he parked his car and we had to sneak in through Luke's window. The alarm would go off otherwise. We climbed on the little roof infront of his room to get to his bedroom window.
When we were in his room I put down my bag and jacket and sat down on his bed.
He sat down next to me and said "Now, what ha-" but I interrupted him and said "So do you want me to get some snacks?" I knew he wanted to ask about what happened to my eye but I didn't want to talk about it. He just nodded and I went downstairs..
