"Stay dead!"

The demons showed up a day and a half sooner then what we was told. We didn't count on them having flying demons and horses. The townsfolk were evacuated through portals to a safer location the day we got news of the invasion. It was just Gabriēl, Alucard, and Me. The princess left with the townsfolk.

"How's that gladio?" Alucard asked.

"It's great. Thank you."

Alucard had a gladio forge for me that was easy to pick up and swing. It's sharp. The hilt was made out of titanium, it's not heavy at least. And the blade was made from chromium, I didn't ask why he didn't use chromium for the hilt too. The middle part had a green gem in it, not sure why that was there either. I guess to just add some color to it. The scabbard had color, it wasn't brown, but green like the gem, maybe that's why the gem was green or something.

"Less talk, more killing!" Gabriēl yelled cross the noise of swords crashing and explodes going off. Some of the demons had explosive spells. You had to watch your feet sometimes, because the ground would just light up and if you didn't move in time it was bye-bye legs and maybe even your life.

"This is nuts," Alucard said has he removed a flying demon's wings with his sword.

"And this is only like what? Half of the army?"

"I don't even think this is half of it. I think this is like 15% of the army and we can't stop them all."

"Fuck, this is one hell of a uprising."

"Yeah, I know."

I watched Alucard move like a snake. he dodged attacks before I even knew they was coming. He would yell to me to duck and I would. And the next thing I see is him cutting the head off one of the demons like it was made of paper.

The ground started glowing. "Fuck." I made it just in time. There was a round hole where my feet use to be. Glad i was able to dodge out of the way, but now it's becoming harder to dodge since they been setting up traps before we dodge and we have to dodge once more just to void the traps. It's a war zone no doubt about that. A few of the enemies blow up their own. It's helpful when they do blow each other up, but the numbers don't drop like you think it should. It was like fighting a Hydra. cut off one head and 50 more show up in it's place.

"Hey, Alucard."

"What?"

"Don't you think it's time to call in some reinforcements?"

"You know anybody brave enough to fight this army?"

"Can't you just call on some friends or something?"

"Sure. Let me leave for a few hours and I will come back with some random people I just mat."

"So, Gabriēl, got anybody that could help us?"

He just laughed.

"We need help."

"Yeah, well that's too bad," Gabriēl said.

I was getting tired. We been doing this for 3 hours straight. And like I said they just keep coming and coming. The sky was changing colors which means night was coming. Some demons get stronger at night. Those demons weren't here yet, but I'm sure they was on their way. We was still dealing with air demons and horse riders.

"Shit." I lost my balance due to being low on energy. I was saved by Alucard.

"You okay?"

"No, I'm tired. I don't have the stamina to fight."
