Hell, My Home

Chapter I

Hi, I'm Jiang. I live here in Hell and no, I'm not here because I did something bad in my life, actually I'm still alive. Earth itself is no longer livable. Scientist had figured out how to open a portal to Hell, that was 2 years ago. Let me take you back to the year 2066 and explain how I and many others have come to live in Hell.

Dr. Robert was the first man to come up with the idea to make a portal that would open up into Hell. Of course you probably wonder why a scientist would want to go to Hell and not somewhere like Heaven or another planet. We been to almost every planet and took what we could get. They thought they had enough materials, food, and water for another 1,000 years, but by 2038 we had almost run out of everything.

The idea of going to Heaven was out the window when a band of "Super" Christians lost their shit when they heard we wanted to send unclean people to Heaven, fucking retards. Anyway they also lost it when we got the news we will be going to Hell by portal. Let me also add that most of this was told to me by my friend Zack who is Robert's son.

His Dad informed him over dinner. Zack thought his Dad was going mad from not having anyway of fixing the problems we was currently dealing with. His Dad add that he was not going mad, but it was the only option left. Above Earth was no longer a place for humans and the only choice was to open up a portal to Satan's home. His Dad was able to get 5 other scientist on broad and by 2065 they had a working device, Gun according to Zack.

Satan himself showed up on Earth during the time they was working on the device. He didn't like the idea of humans coming to his home without dying first, but at the sometime he wasn't going to stop them. He only warned them of the danger they could face if they entered Hell uninvited not all demons take kindly of humans entering their places.

In the Spring of 2066 Zack's Dad and his co-workers started up the machine after testing it a few times to make sure it would actually go to Hell and not some other place. It was ready for us to move to Hell. People lined up outside of the lab - waiting to go to Hell, Robert and one of his co-workers was the first to go through the portal to Hell. One by one people followed each other into the redish-purple portal. We was greeted by Alucard the son of Satan.

"Greets Humans, I'm Alucard. Satan's son."

"I thought Alucard was Dracula?" Dr. Robert asked.

"That's just something you humans came up with. Dracula and Me are totally two different beings."

I learned this later on from Alucard when I got to meet him, but that's for a later tale. I was only 14 at the time of the transport to Hell. My family and I was almost the last to come to Hell. Before coming to Hell my family lived in a rundown apartment in Ohio. One of the 7 states that was still somewhat livable. We came to America from China after the explosions of 3 power planets made China unlivable, truth be told it was unlivable before then too.

When the icecaps malted in 2027 Iceland and Greenland was wiped out and 80% of Canada was wiped out. Alaska broke off from Canada and sank into the ocean, since it to started to malt from the warmer heat. Every snowy mountain top malted too. Summer was now a 4 season thing, temps rise up to 150 degrees during Summer and would sit at 90 in Fall, Winter, and Spring. between the icecaps malting and the heat rising almost 40% of Earth's people was dead. States in the west like California was unlivable due to wildfires almost every day. At first the firefighters had it under-control, but by the third month of outbreaks California's government announce they will be evacuating the whole state. That's about 39 million people moving to another state. I believe some families moved all the way over to the east side of the US. It took them 4 years to finally get the wildfires under-control, but by that time America had no plans to rebuilding California, it end up being the second state lost to the changes of the weather on Earth.

With the up rise in the weather changing. Florida was hit by 3 tornadoes and 2 hurricanes with in 2 weeks. The beaches and shipyards of Florida got hit the hardest since the hurricanes came from the sea. The tornadoes ripped through small towns. One town got hit twice. It became a ghost town after the second tornado went through it. Only 5 people dead in that town. If I remember the report correctly 2,300 people dead all together from the 5 spinning monsters of doom.

Within 4 years half of the U.S was destroyed by some act of natural. The only states left was the ones on the east side, New Jersey was lose to the sea rising, but anything that was in the middle or not very close to sea water survived for the time being. Earthquakes hit a few states, big ones at that. I think the must powerful one was 18.0. It was in Washington.

I saw must of this on the news or through the internet. My family was in the U.S by then and we had to survive the best we could. We still had family members in China, but far has I know they all dead about 2 years after we left. My Dad tried to keep in touch with them, but it's hard to keep in touch with a large family that is in different parts of a country. I was also the only one in my family that knew enough English to get us by. My Dad and Mom knew a few words and both of my sisters knew enough.

Speaking of sisters. One of them needs me to help her with her magic. I will fill you in on the details of our first few months here in Hell in the next chapter. I can go over the whole magic thing too.
