Chapter 3: Hidden Secrets.

Hinata woke up slowly. His vision was blurry so he blinked a few times. He practically leaped out of bed in alarm when he found himself in Kageyama's arms. Hinata stood at the side of the bed. He was in Kageyama's room. He turned his gaze to the sleeping Kageyama. His heart began to race and he crawled back in bed with him. He looked at Kageyama's face. He was cute, asleep and all. Slowly, Hinata reached and pushed Kageyama's hair out of his eyes. His heart beating out of his chest, he ran a finger along Kageyama's cheek. Kageyama groaned and opened his eyes. Hinata quickly retracted his hand to his chest. Kageyama blinked at Hinata and rolled over, facing his clock. 1pm. Hinata got up, stretching. "Afternoon, sleepy head." Kageyama's hot morning voice sounded from behind Hinata. Kageyama lifted himself out of bed and stumbled into the bathroom. Hinata stared after him, not saying anything. He still felt sick. After a few minutes Kageyama walked out, his hair still a mess and his eyes half closed. "You hungry now?" Kageyama said after leaning on a wall. Hinata shook his head. "Not really." He lied. He was starving. Kageyama eyed him for a moment. "Boke." He muttered. "With how childish you are I bet if I asked "You want ice cream?" You would eagerly nod your head." Hinata stomped his foot. "I would not!" He protested, slightly hurt by Kageyama's words. Kageyama rolled his eyes and walked out of the room, leaving Hinata to get dressed.

Hinata lay on Kageyama's couch, staring at the ceiling. He had finally admitted his hunger and Kageyama was making Ramen with eggs with a side of rice balls and mini pork buns. Hinata's favorite. Kageyama looked up. "Hinata. It's ready. Nice and hot." Kageyama called, setting four plates down. One for himself, one for Hinata and the other two for the pork buns and rice balls. Hinata eagerly sat down. It smelled good. Kageyama left Hinata to serve himself and washed his hands. He glanced at the clock. "Practice is at 7:00am tomorrow right?" Kageyama asked randomly. "Yea why?" Hinata said, stuffing his face with food. It was heaven. "Hey, Bakayama, come eat before it's all gone!" Hinata looked up from his food. Kageyama was staring at him. "Boke." He ruffled his hair a bit roughly. Hinata flinched, looking away from Kageyama. "Oi, Boke, am I really that scary?" He forced out, glaring at Hinata as he sat down. He grabbed the two remaining rice balls and pork buns, stirring his ramen and eggs. Hinata shook his head quickly, waving his hands. "N-no! It's just- You'll make me go bald!" Hinata shot an accusing glare at Kageyama. Kageyama rolled his eyes. He messed with his food for a while. He had lost his apatite. "You gonna eat that?" Hinata pointed at Kageyama's untouched food. He shook his head. "Knock yourself out."

Hinata poked Kageyama in the side. "Oi! Ow, Boke!" He smacked Hinata's hand away, glaring coolly at him. Hinata flinched, looking away from Kageyama again. "Tch." Kageyama shoved past Hinata and out the door. Hinata followed, bag in hand. He had stayed the night at Kageyama's and now they were just about to leave for school. Hinata quickly took off, hoping Kageyama would catch on and race him. He blinked. A Black blur zipped past him. Kageyama was gonna beat him! AGAIN! Slight anger fed his stanima and he found himself slamming into Kageyama. They both rolled to the ground in a flurry of limbs and bags. "Ugh Boke!" Kageyama snapped. Hinata had landed ontop of him. "Sorry!" Hinata said quickly, blushing like mad as he rolled off of Kageyama. He blinked only to notice that Kageyama was blushing too. Hinata grabbed his bag, at least...he thought it was his bag. "Oi dumbass thats my bag!" Kageyama stumbled up, shoving Hinata's bag to him. "Oops! Sorry Kags." Kageyama flinched. That nick name still got on his nerves, but he never bothered to tell Hinata since...he kind of liked it. 

"Boke."

"Bakayama!"

"Boke!"

They went on and on, calling each other names until they reached the gym.

"OI! Shut up!" It was Suga. Again. He was walking towards them, hands in pockets as he did so. "You two are so loud I swear."

"Suga! Wait up!"

That was Tanaka. Suga paused in front of Kageyama and Hinata as Tanaka ran up to them. "Early pre practice?" Tanaka asked, panting. Suga nodded. "Or at least for these knuckleheads." Suga said crossly as Hinata punched Kageyama's arm weakly over and over again. "Tch." Kageyama turned on his heels and strutted to the gym door, leaving Hinata to fall forward. "AYE!" Hinata screeched as he hit the ground with a thud. Kageyama rolled his eyes and waited at the gym door. "You're both like impatient puppies." Suga grumbled as he slid open the doors. Kageyama walked in first, setting his bag down. He rolled up his hoodie sleeve and walked into the storage room to start setting up. Kageyama noticed Daichi walk in and look shocked at the group. Before anyone could say anything, Hinata jumped in front of Daichi and began claiming it was his idea. Daichi, obviously, believed it and began scolding Hinata. Hinata flinched under Daichi's anger, staring at the floor. Did he expect a blow from Daichi? Hinata nodded slowly to Daichi and dragged himself towards Kageyama. "Oi,  Boke, why did you do that?" Kageyama asked as he rolled out the score board.

"Because."

"Because why?"

"Just because, okay?!" Hinata snapped.

Kageyama flinched. What's gotten into him? Before he could say something, Hinata shoved past him. Kageyama balled his hands to fists and grabbed Hinata by the shirt, dragging him and pinning him against the wall. He stared at Hinata lips, then his torso. No. He had to focus at the problem at hand not Hinata's sexy body. Kageyama shook his head, gripping Hinata's shirt more. "I don't know what the hell is up with you right now, but it better not effect your game play. Understand?" Kageyama growled. Hinata flinched, unmistakable horror in his eyes. Does he really think I'm...scary? Kageyama thought, struggling not to let his hurt seep into his eyes.  "Tch." He shoved Hinata against the wall before walking out of the storage room. What was Hinata hiding? Kageyama couldn't help but wonder: What were these hidden secrets?

A/N: Alrighty! Chapter 3 is out finally! I was running out of ideas on how to end the chapter! I like to end the chapter with the chapter title, and finding a line that'll make it sound good is harder than it seems! But anyway, I'll try and get chapter 4 out today! ALSO!
