Hinata sighed as Kageyama walked into his house, waving goodbye. After the horrid news at the park Hinata hated watching him go home. He wished he could of stayed the night, but his parents were having an open house since the couple had re thought the idea of the offer when Kageyama had stormed out. Hinata sighed and walked home. He couldn't go to the school to sleep outside in this weather so home was his only option.

He opened his house door and was instantly greeted with a slap across the face. He yelped in pain as his mother grabbed him by the hair and threw him against the wall. She was yelling at him about where he had been and about how much of a mistake he was. She gave him fresh bruises and scars, only finishing when she had to throw up. Hinata limped to the bathroom. He felt dizzy. He groaned and yet again, blacked out, crumbling to the bathroom floor in a bloody mess.

Kageyama waited for Hinata at the bus stop, his hands stuffed in his jacket pockets. Hinata was slowly limping towards Kageyama. "Hinata! What happened?" He gasped. "I uh..I slipped. The stairs leading to the door were frozen over.." He lied. "Oh Hinata.." Kageyama whispered. He brushed Hinata's drooping hair away from his eyes. "C'mon. Lean on me." Hinata sighed and leaned on Kageyama. Kageyama slowly walked forward, Hinata limping with his slow pace. "Do you think you'll be able to play?" Kageyama asked as they approached the gym. "Maybe." Hinata shrugged, starting to walk on his leg again just slightly. "If you can't I'm sure Daichi'll understand." Kageyama said quietly as they walked into the unlocked gym. Tanaka, Suga and Nishinoya were all there, finishing the gym set up. "How's the leg?" Kageyama asked. "Better..I think I'm okay." Kageyama turned to face Hinata. "If you feel like your in too much pain to jump don't do it. You could land on it wrong and hurt it more." Hinata nodded, taking his words into consideration.

"Hinata!" Kageyama yelled as he set the ball to him. Hinata tried running forward, only to yelp in pain and collapse. "Hinata!" Kageyama rushed to his side and helped him up. "At least you listened to me." Kageyama whispered as he helped Hinata to the bench. "Guys guys!" Take-sensei came running into the gym. "What is it Takeda?" Daichi ran forward. "I managed to set up a practice math with Nekoma!" He panted. Kageyama stiffened. "Great! When is it?" "Sunday!" Takeda smiled. "That's great!" Coach Ukai chimed in, smiling. Hinata sighed as he sat down, his head pounding. Kageyama sat next to him.

"Headache?" Kageyama asked softly.

"Yea..."

Kageyama pulled him closer. Hinata let out a breath and rested his head on Kageyama's shoulder. "Alright! Everyone listen up!" Daichi called. Hinata kept his eyes close and Kageyama ran his fingers through his hair. "Even you love birds!" Hinata opened his eyes. He sat up, blushing. "We have a practice match on Sunday, though I'm sure you heard. I want you all to be here by 7am. The game should end by 8 or 9 depending how many sets we do." The team nodded. "Uh..I have a quick announcement.." Kageyama stood up. "Go ahead, Kageyama." Daichi nodded. "I uh...I'm moving in a few months- AUGH!" Nishinoya, Tanaka and Yachi all threw themselves at Kageyama.

"Don't leave us!" Nishinoya wailed. Hinata groaned and stumbled up, walking to the bathrooms in a heavy limp. Kageyama stared after him. "I'm sure we can see each other again.." Kageyama said crossly, peeling off the bundle of wailing first and second years. "Tch." Kageyama nodded at Suga who was in tears and Daichi who was staring after Kageyama as he followed Hinata.

"Hinata?" Kageyama called once he shut the bathroom door. "In here.." Hinata mumbled from a stall. He was hunched over the toilet, looking sick. "Hinata.." Kageyama sighed as Hinata stood up. "I'm fine just...anxiety.." Hinata whispered. "Why do you have to go..?" he asked weakly. Kageyama shrugged. "I wish I could stay.." Kageyama whispered. Hinata's tears fell quickly. Kageyama sighed heavily and hugged Hinata tightly, letting him sob in his chest. Kageyama was shaking as he lifted Hinata's chin to his face. He kissed him on the lips, the kiss lasting more then 5 seconds. He finally pulled away. Hinata was blushing. "What was that for.." "Comfort.." Kageyama said quickly, blushing as well. Hinata looked down. "Hinata I-" "Lets pack up!" Daichi yelled. Hinata brushed past Kageyama and out of the bathrooms. Kageyama sighed heavily. He had his chance to confess DAMN IT. He balled his hands to fists slightly as he walked out of the bathroom. Both Nishinoya and Tanaka instantly crowded them. "Making out for the last few times?!" They said loudly. Hinata shook his head. "What no! He was just washing his face!" Hinata waved his hands in the air as Nishinoya and Tanaka followed him to the bench.

"Kageyama?"

"Hm? What? Oh hi Suga."

"Hey..when are you leaving..like..the exact date?" Suga was shaking.

"Dunno. If anything we could be leaving by the end of the month.." Kageyama mumbled.

"Can't you like- live with anyone else.. we need you...he needs you.." Suga nodded at Hinata who was trying to shoo off the hyper second years.

Kageyama looked down. He couldn't think of anyone he could live with. "No...I don't have anyone.." He mumbled slowly, turning his gaze to Hinata who was trying to shake off Nishinoya from around his legs. He sighed. "I promise I'll find a way to see you all. Who knows, maybe I might be moving closer to Aboa Johsai. I can't go to Karasuno when I'm so far away but we'll be close." Kageyama tried. Suga shook his head. "That's a power school, Kageyama. We'll be against each other and you know it." Kageyama felt defeated. "I don't know, okay? I'll update you guys tomorrow." Kageyama bowed slightly before walking to Hinata, grabbing Nishinoya by the shirt and tossing him aside into Tanaka. "I'll walk you home Hinata." Kageyama mumbled.

"Look Kags! Snow!" Hinata said as they reached the bus stop marking their parting ways. Kageyama looked up. "Hinata." Kageyama said after a minute. "Ye- mffgh!" Kageyama grabbed Hinata's cheeks and kissed him, long and passionately Hinata was stiff at first, but he put his arms around Kageyama's neck while Kageyama had his arms around Hinata's waist. They finally pulled away. Hinata was running his fingers through Kageyama's hair softly. "Promise me, what ever happens, we'll stay in touch." Kageyama whispered. "Promise me.."
