(Draco's POV)

"Merlin you Gryffindor's are more annoying than I thought." I watched as she tried to look offended by what I said but she really just looked cute. What am I saying, I have to fix the cabinet and she is distracting me.

"And you Slytherins aren't very good at insults are you." She took this time to sit down on the couch that was next to the vanishing cabinet. I looked at her in disbelief, looks like I'm not getting rid of her anytime soon and I don't really feel like insulting her until she feels the need to leave. She asks me again to tell her about the cabinet and I took a minute to collect my thoughts and figure out what I could tell her without getting in trouble.

"Listen it's just a dusty old cabinet that the school asked me to repair, no big deal really." I noticed her face turn up in confusion and I felt more questions coming from her but for some reason I didn't mind. I usually spend this time working in silence just completely stressing and she is a little distraction from the immense amount of pressure.

"So thee Draco Malfoy got asked by Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry to fix something. Wow just wow you must be good at fixing things then huh." She spoke sarcastically as she joked around with me and smiled wide. I couldn't help the tiny smirk that sat upon my face.

"You know something Marie, you're annoying me." "Oh blimey hell forgive me master Draco ultimate fixer of dusty old cabinets." We both let out some much needed laughter from what I could tell. I start my work on the cabinet while she sits there and I thought of something I forgot to ask before.

"So how is it you found yourself in the room of requirement today." I could tell that I had made her remember why she was here and I kind of felt guilty for asking, I hope I never made her feel how her face looks right now.... but then again I did call her Gryffindor Filth yesterday.

"It's just been a long day really. It mostly has to do with classes and such." She fiddled with her hair and it just seemed like she was lying about what was going on with her. I asked her to tell me what really happened and she sighed and gave in.

"Well it all started when I went to the party last night and I left all my friends sleeping in my dorm just to stop by to see Pansy and Blaise. After I left you guys I got in a big fight with my best friend about my whereabouts and to be quite honest Pansy's intentions on being my friend. Then I woke up early this morning to get a shower and Harry walked in on me now I feel like things will be awkward. To top everything off I tried to speak to her this morning and it didn't work but when we got to the breakfast table this morning she just lit into me." She looked like a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders but still not in the slightest bit happier at the same time. I wonder if Potter saw her whole body, Merlin I fucking hate him.

"First of all I always knew that Potter was a creepy little somebody." She shot me a look of disapproval for talking about her friend. "Second of all I don't know what Pansy's intentions with you are either but I don't think she's going to harm you or anything so your friends really have nothing to worry about plus I won't let her hurt you that would just be cruel." She looks down to hide her obvious blushing.

I continued working while she sat there blushing madly and I smiled knowing I could do that to her, Imagine what else I could get her body to do.

(Marie's POV)

Draco really just said that he wouldn't let Pansy hurt me, maybe Pansy was right and there might be a possible chance that he does have some type of feelings for me. Or maybe he was just being friendly but either way I sat there blushing wildly because I couldn't help it by that point.

For hours and hours we sat there talking while he worked on the cabinet Hogwarts asked him to fix. That's pretty cool of the school to trust him with something like that, it must be pretty important to Dumbledore.  He actually is a pretty good person once you look past all of the automatic built in insults and the stone cold demeanor, now that just sounds crazy but it's true.
