"WAKE UP MARINETTE!" Mom said as she shook me
"What mom? 5 more minutes please!" I said as I turned around in my sleeping bag
"No! Get out," She said as she took my blankets off of me
"WHY ?!" I said
"Because today we're going to meet your new school and director," She said
"Fineeeeeeeeeeeee, but we're going against my own will," I said as I got out of bed
"Ok, take a bath and pick some clothing ok," she said "Me and your dad have breakfast downstairs so your better hurry if you want any,". So I hurried to my suitcase and took a white shirt with my signature flowers, a pair of pink overalls, my good luck UA hoodie, and hurried into the bathroom.
"I'm here!" I said as I yeeted myself into the table and grabbed a croissant
"MARINETTE BRIDGETTE DUPAIN-CHENG! YOU MADE A MESS!" my Dad said {A / N; idk if her second name is Bridgette but it would be cool if it were tbh}
"Sorry! Sorry !," I said as I cleaned all up
"Oh look at the time!" Mom said as she tried to change the subject
"Lets go," he said
"Aren't we going to ask an Uber?" I asked
"No, the school is right next to us," Dad said
"And I have a feeling that you will afford to get late a lot," Mom said
"Ja.Ja.Ja, not funny let's go," I said as I held the door open for them
~ Inside of the school ~
"Good morning Mr. Dupain, Mrs. Cheng, and young Marinette welcome to our school! I'm Mr. Damocles the director of the school," He said as we walked to his office
"Hello Mr. Damocles, am I late?" A girl voice behind me said
"Alya Cesaire, you're just in time my darling," he replied "This is one of our top students, so I called her to give Marinette a tour of the school while we discuss the final details,"
"Ok, Marinette let's go!" She said, I got up and left the office. She was really optimistic and happy she almost reminded of Lisa, but it was probably just their personalities, they looked nothing alike, Lisa was really pale, blond and had bright blue eyes, and Alya had dark skin, chocolate eyes, and scarlet hair.
~ Back at the house ~
"So? What do you think?" Mom asked
"I really like it!" I replied
"We're glad, cause so did we!" Dad added
"So you'll be starting this Monday, and this school is uniform free so you dont have to worry about that," Mom said
"Now that's settled, let's eat," Dad said
"By the way when does the furniture come?" I asked
"It's already here!" Dad said "You didn't notice?"
"Wait ... I didn't! It looks amazing!" I said
"Ja, well hello Paris! Get ready for the Dupain-Cheng's!"
"Cause you don't mess with New Yorker's!"
