I tried to open my eyes. The blurry vision slowly starting to fade away. I looked around me and saw that it was already mid-day from the way the sun was standing at the horizon. I looked further at the room. It wasn't a room I was familiar with. How did I end up here again? Ah shit my head hurts goddamnit what happend? The last thing I can remember was walking in the streets wounded and trying to find Anteiku. Did Big Madam catch me again? I had so many questions and my head was aching. But before I could think more the door opened.

I quickly jumped up and got out of the bed. The blankets fell to the ground now surrounding the bed. I quickly activated my kagunes and attacked the first person coming trough the door.

"I ain't going back to you Big Madam you won't catch me again!"

I screamed at the person at the door.
I could hear the ghoul curse some words. That voice...wait could it be?

"Nishiki?"

"Ah...yes...it's me you idiot".

Oh fuck I just pierced Nishiki I'm so fucking dead later. I pulled my kagune back and tried to walk over to him but failed. When I tried to take the first step my legs collapsed and I fell to the ground. I immediately moved my right hand to my wound.

"shit... it's bleeding again"

I murmured out. I tried to stand up again but fell back to the ground.

Nishiki stood up and started walking over to you. Oh no I'm fucked.

"Listen Nishiki before you kill me I didn't mean to stab you I didn't know I was at Anteiku. Everything changed I didn't recognize the rooms anymore and-"

before I could say anything more he looked me in the eyes and after that grabbed me in a hug. I didn't know how to react, I just sat there shocked with what just happened. Nishio usually never hugs someone. I just kept starring with widened eyes. Then he started speaking.

"I'm glad your back it was... weird without my other friend."

I gave him a small smile and this time I hugged him.

While I was hugging Nishio Touka and Yoshimura walked in. Touka walked over to me and also knelt down. She joined the hug and a small single tear dropped down her right cheek.

"It's good to have you back y/n."

Both of us smiled at eachother. All of us got up or at least they got up and were helping me to keep standing straight.

Yoshimura walked closer to me

"we're all glad that your back y/n but would you like to give us an explanation as to how your back? We all thought you were dead for the past 4 years."

"Of course I'll explain everything I can only imagine how freaking confused y'all would be with me being back out of nowhere."

I scratched my head and laughed awkwardly.

"Good, everyone will be waiting for you downstairs. Let Touka replace your bandages and take care of your wound and come down after."

I nodded and he gave you a small smile. Boy after all those years that smile of him still didn't change. Both Yoshimura and Nishio walked out. The "present" that I gave to Nishio was almost fully healed, there was now just some minor scratches left and a hole in his t-shirt. Damn imma need to buy him a new shirt ain't I?

After they both walked out Touka helped me walk over to the bureau in the left corner of the room. I leaned against it while I removed my shirt or at least what's left of it.
