Pov Lancey Lance
I woke up to Allura's loud ass "get ready for a battle we're under attack!" I got up quickly and got suited up. I ran and took my scent blocker and suppressants. I rushed to the hanger not caring about my usual routine. Last time I was late I was yelled at. I got into blue and flew into the fleet, we were all doing fine when Keith got mad and started going more into the ship. He didn't realize the ion Canon pointed towards his lion. Keith's pov
I got slammed into by Lance, losing control of red once I got situated saw blue in the ray of the ion Canon I could hear his glitches screams 'he saved me' i thought "Shiro lance!" I yelled he quickly carved into it disabling it, he picked up the blu lion we used the Alura to wormhole out of there
Shiro's pov
We got Lance out of the blu lion he was sweaty and scratched up. His face had a look of discomfort. We put him in a healing pod "what the hell happened out there Keith!" I yelled angered. While I was yelling at Keith podge was the comforting hunk who wasn't in the best mood he was balling, Coran and Shiro were doing the best they could to repair what they could on blu. "he pushed me out the way he sacrificed himself" he said sadly and I leaned against the wall worried. I let out a distressing scent subconsciously Allura came in slightly concern. Allura's the only omega on the ship, me and Keith are alphas, and pidge, hunk, and Lance agro one betas. "Hey, can you look at his files make sure he'll be ok?" I asked she nodded and went to his records "he's been electrocuted but should be fine" she said in her calming almost British accent as she looked farther down her facial expression got a little bit worried "what is it" I asked noticing the face change "oh its nothing Shiro don't worry" she said I nodded she was lying. I sat down she came over and she canes over and released some calming scents for me and Keith who was pacing back and forth. He sat down next to me and passed out, he felt guilty. A few minutes later he woke up. "Hey bro you should calm down its not ur fault you know he won't blame you," I said to Keith "ima go train." He said and I left for my room I walked in the doorway and saw my bed 'its too clean, there should be an unorganized nest I started messing up my room.
Time skip to din-din
Shiro's pov
We all sat down and started eating the gross alien food hunk made I think it was still alive. Alura stood up "so about what happened today" she piped up "it will not happen again yall were all irresponsible and split up and now we're one paladin down because of yall neglecting the people around you, you were unable to protect him Keith you were unaware of ur surroundings cause him to get hit" she went off surprisingly calm she went off again and I lost interest. In the middle of her speech, the smell of the ocean and sugar flooded the air. Keith and I got up abruptly and followed the scent Keith close behind me "could that be lance" I asked, "I'm not sure I thought he was a beta" he said looking at me we got to the med bay and looked around but Lance was...missing. I looked around "do u think it could've been Alura," he asked "I mean maybe but why isn't lance here? You go check to see if it was Allura and I will go find lance" I said and he walked off I set off for Lance's room the smell getting stronger once I got to his room the scent ended completely disappearing. I knocked on the door and heard a groan. He walked out in a towel "may I help you" he asked. "Um yes, actually can u smell that it's been driving me and Keith to insanity," I asked he looked me up and down "well no I can't u idiot betas can't smell other peoples aromas did you try Allura maybe she just accidentally fallen out of control and let it out," he spoke up "hey don't get upset with me young man," I said "I'm not I just got shot you should expect me to be a little shaken," he said. He let me in and I sat on the bed as he walked into the bathroom to change he came out in a light blue hoodie and a pair of short shorts.
Lances pov
"Sorry about the mess," I said to the pile of clothes on the floor. "Heh no problem reminds me of a nest not gonna lie," he said I froze. "It's not it's just a bunch of clothing I couldn't pick earlier," I said "the fragrance stopped at your door," he said, "um yeah I have a diffuser so it doesn't smell in here," I said. He left and I felt relaxed. I texted Allura and told her the plan worked she told me they got up looking at my scent I was a lot stronger scented because I just got out of the healing pod. I walked to my bed and fell asleep
