His Agent Wife

I can feel that someone is hugging me from behind. I am still feeling numb of what had happened from the first test. I slowly opened my eyes and groaned in pain.

"Y-You bastard. Get your hands off me." I hissed.

"You slept for an exact week. I'm used to this already." He whispered sleepily.

"Buti pa nga at nagising pa ako." Pilosopo kong sambit.

"I'm sorry, Red." I can sense the sincerity from his voice.

"But I cannot let anyone just be my wife. You can even be my weakness."

I see. Ayaw niya akong maging pabigat. Kahit siguro kung ako ang nasa posisyon niya, I would probably look for the strongest wife to be with me. Delikado ang trabaho niya, it's expected that I can be in danger anytime.

"Maliligo muna ako. Ilang araw na akong tulog." I said to him.

"Don't worry. I bathed you in the past seven days." He said once again.

Mabilis ko naman siyang hinarap. I ignored the pain. At least, I can survive now for a day.

"Does it still hurt?"

"My bruises are still visible but I can live. Malayo sa bituka."

"Did you enjoy the test, Red?"

I don't know if he is still in his right mind to ask me that.

"Baliw lang ang magiging masaya dun, Zero. I risked my life." My voice is still hinted with anger.

I rolled my eyes and tried to push him with all my strength but he didn't even move a little bit because he is too strong. "Ang bigat bigat mo na, Zero. Get your hands away from me."

Tumikhim naman ako.

"Did I survived the fifth shot?" Nahihiya kong tanong. I lost my consciousness before the bullet could hit me.

He chuckled a little bit and the bastard even flicked my forehead. Sa tingin ba niya ay ikinagagwapo niya yang pinanggagawa niya?

"Silly, do you really think that you'll survive a Remington? It's just one of our test."

"Wala naman akong balak na patayin ka." He teased me. Akala niya siguro ay natutuwa ako.

"Yeah? Maybe? Sino ba naman kasing gumawa ng test na yun?" I sarcastically asked him.

"Ako. You entered this hell yourself, don't tell me you want to give up now?"

I've traveled this far and you only want me to give up? No. May papatumbahin pa ako, may ililigtas pa ako.

"Besides, the Remington shot is just a test for you if you'll dodge it or not. But you're too brave to even pass it." He proudly said.

I-Is he complimenting me? I bowed my head a little bit. "It's your fault that I'm hurt."

Lumapit ito sa akin at hinalikan niya ang noo ko. Why is he so nice to me? I don't want any man to belittle me and spoil me as much as they want but when it comes to Zero, it is considered as a different story.
