A month later...

Nelson's POV:

"Bro, I want a treat!", Matt demanded for the hundreth time.

"Let me take a rest; I just came back, I didn't even change my clothes."

"No, you are giving me a treat right now!"

"Matt, out", I said pointing towards the door.

Before he could say anything the doorbell rang.

"You, yourself invited people and now you are kicking me out", he complained.

"I didn't invite anyone, it must be dad."

We heard someone running up the stairs and to my room.

O-kay...dad won't be running to meet me.

And before I knew it, I was engulfed in a hug.

"Nelson! You did it!", Ella exclaimed almost jumping at me wrapping her hands around my neck.

I immediately wrapped both of my hands around her body and lifted her off her feet and twirled her around before putting her down.

"You did it, idiot! You made a triple hundred!", she again exclaimed making me chuckle.

"And you white washed South Africa!", she added.

"Not me, baby, my team and I whitewashed them", I corrected her.

"Whatever...but you made a triple hundred!" She jumped in happiness.

"You are more happy than me", I said.

Matt cleared his throat and we both turned towards him.

He had a scowl on his face. "I should get going."

"Bye, Matt", I said but he didn't reply and just went away.

What happened to him?

Frowning, I turned to Ella and I smiled at her.

"I have something for you", I said.

"What?"

I searched the back pocket of my jeans and pulled out the medal.

I put the medal around her neck. "This triple hundred is dedicated to you."

"Me? Why?"

I shrugged. "You deserve it. The Man Of The Match award is yours now."

"I already have many." She rolled her eyes.

"Not more than me, I guess..."

"Are we betting again?"

"Maybe..."

"We can do that later. First I need to do something else."

"What?"

She gave me a toothy grin and then grabbed my face and captured my lips.

I smiled against her lips and tangled my fingers in her hair angling her head.

Our tongue met briefly and she pulled back and wrapped her hands around my torso burying her head in my chest.

"I missed you, idiot", she said breathlessly.

Kissing the top of her head, I hugged her back.

"I missed you too, Resf."

"You must be tired", she mumbled against my chest.

"Hmm...a lot."

"Then I am going, you rest", she said and moved back.

"I didn't say that just because you could leave."
