Nelson's POV:

What was uncle thinking while handing me this job?
Does he really trusts me that much?
The thing is, he knows that I would never ever disappoint him. I respect him more than anyone else.
He is the smartest person I know, no, I am not talking about his looks but his brain, his quick thinking. Though I can't say that to him that he is the smartest person I know or else dad will kill me for not giving that title to him.

Anyway, I thought his daughter will be smart too but no, she is the dumbest person I know.
What was the Australian Cricket board even thinking while making her the captain of the women's team?
That guy is literally using her and yet she is taking his side.

It's been a week since we had that lunch together.
I even told Matt to keep Asher as busy as possible so that they don't get the time to go on a date.

That day, when she placed her legs on the dashboard, I didn't have any problem with that but the problem was that almost her whole legs were exposed and it took everything in me to not stare at it.
I did glance at it but I could imagine uncle shaking his head in disappointment at me. So I quickly averted my eyes.

I sighed deeply, why am I even thinking about her?

My phone rang and uncle's name flashed on the caller ID.

"Nelson Andrews is at your service, how can I help you, Mr. Resf?", I joked.

I expected him to atleast chuckle at it but I don't know why he is so serious these days.

"Nelson, I need you to go over Ella's house and see if she's okay. She is not picking our calls. Make sure that Asher is not there and if he is then make sure you run him out of the house. Understood?"

I sighed, "Yes, uncle."
I wanted to give him some sarcastic reply but decided against it because he sounded so serious.

It was six in the evening when I drove towards Ella's house.

Parking the car outside her house, I went and rang the doorbell.

An elder woman opened the door and greeted me; as I greeted her back, I questioned her, "Is Ella home?"

"Yes, she is in her room. Do you want me to call her, I think she is not feeling well."

"No... I'll go and see her myself", I gave her a small smile.

I already knew where her room was because I have been here before, just once due to some reasons relating to cricket.

I walked upto her door and knocked.
I heard a faint, come in.

Opening the door slowly, I stepped into her room.
She was curled up on the bed, with a blanket draped over her, her hair looked messy. Her back was towards me so, she couldn't see me.

"You need something, Rachael?", she asked softly thinking me to be her housekeeper.

"Can I get a kiss?", I replied.
