Amane's POV

I looked up and saw the clouds began to gather in the sky. I quickened my pace and arrived at the school and began walking to our classroom. I sat down near the window and heard tapping on the window. I watched as people ran for cover outside and umbrellas were opened as the clouds spat out their beads of water.

Puddles began to form as the rainfall became heavier. The roofs of the cars danced with spray and I could hear the murmuring of the rain through the window.

I snapped out of my trance as the teacher called my name. I quickly apologized and took my book under my table. A pink notebook fell as I retrieved my book. I was confused as to why a pink notebook was under my table. I placed it back and decided to hand it back to the owner later.

Class finished early because of the storm. We were told to go home early and it made me happy. I finished packing my things and slung my bag on my back. I remembered the pink notebook and took it. I quickly scanned the name and it was a girl's name.

Yashiro Nene

I don't recall having a classmate named Yashiro Nene. I asked my classmates but they don't know anyone with that name. I bid goodbye to them and went to the teacher's lounge. I knocked three times and proceeded to go inside. The smell of coffee greeted me as our PE teacher brewed some. It continued to linger in my nose and it was quite relaxing.

"What's the matter Amane?" Tsuchigomori asked as he puffed a ring of smoke on my face. I coughed a bit and showed him the notebook

"There was a notebook under my table and it didn't belong to me or my classmates" I said as he took the notebook. I watched him as his eyes grew wide in the process.

"What's wrong sensei?" I asked worriedly as I never saw him this terrified

"N-nothing. Thank you for giving me this and you should probably go now" he quickly dismissed me and I shrugged it off. I left school and big puddles were left when the rain decided to visit us. Splashing sounds could be heard as I walk on the pavement. The air began whispering in my ear as I recalled the petrified face my sensei displayed.

'Who could this Yashiro Nene be?' I began to ask myself who she is. Before I could give myself an answer, I arrived in front of our house. My parents are usually late because of work so I headed to my room and showered myself with warm water.

I finished quickly and did my homework. I notice the thin strands of light peeking through my curtain. I finished my homework and opened the curtains. The moon was gently staring at me as it decorated the tar-black sky with light. It looked like a ghostly-silver disc in the sky and the dogs began howling. As if crying to its beloved moon. I turned off the lamp and went under the covers. Before I drifted to sleep, I was determined to find out who Yashiro is.
