TRAVEL BACK IN TIME

"If you didn't commit suicide.....Were you perhaps murdered?" As soon as Amane asked her that question, he instantly got pulled back to the future

He opened his eyes and adjusted his sight. He got a glimpse of a white ceiling then heard a familiar voice

"Finally, you're awake Amane" Minamoto sighed in relief

"Where am I?" He asked confused

"You're in the infirmary. Mitsuba-kun saw you unconscious in your room and brought you here" Aoi informed

"Really? Mitsuba sensei, thank you for bringing me here" he smiled gratefully and Mitsuba replied with a simple 'no problem'

"Minamoto sensei, I think Yashiro didn't commit suicide" he said in a rush as he recalled their conversation

"What do you mean?" His sensei asked. Not quite understanding what his student was implying

"There's a huge possibility that Yashiro was murdered and made it look like-"

"A suicide" The trio finished his sentence in unison

"Who the hell would even try to hurt Senpai?!" Kou was slowly getting angry while Mitsuba was distressed. Aoi tried calming both of them

"In her letter, it said that their exam will be next week because it got moved" he added

"What?!" Kou asked surprised

"But back in our days, I'm sure it wasn't moved" Mitsuba explained

"Maybe the past changed because Amane went back in time" Aoi reasoned out

"We just need to find the murderer fast" Kou said

"How about we let Amane go back in past and find out who murdered radish-senpai" Mitsuba voiced out his thoughts

"He's too young. His body won't handle it if he goes back and forth so easily" Kou sighed in defeat

"Plus, how will he even defend Nene-chan from the murdered? They will both only be killed" Aoi said

"He can ask for help from the past us" Mitsuba replied

"And I will risk everything for Yashiro even if something bad happens to me" Amane butt in

The trio's expression softened and smiled in gratitude

"Are you sure you're up for this?" Aoi asked and he nodded in confirmation

"Why are you even this desperate to save radish-senpai's life to the point that you're risking your life? You don't even know her that much" Mitsuba asked in curiosity

"Because she deserves to live. She... she deserves to be happy and somehow she's special to me now" he muttered in a low tone

"Oooohhh will you steal radish legs from Kou then?" They both flushed from his question and Kou scolded him after that

Amane was set to travel back in time. He got his backpack full of clothes and necessities he'd need. He sent a letter to her to meet him at the park so that he could travel back in time.

"Goof evening, Amane!" He jumped in shock when Yashiro yelled from behind

"G-good evening, Yashiro" he replied awkwardly

"My parents are on a business trip so don't worry" she reassured

They both went inside her house and it was nice and cosy. It wasn't that big but nor it was small. It was an average house that has a welcoming vibe when you enter.

"I can sleep on the couch" he said but she tried suggesting sleeping beside her which he hurriedly declined with a flushed face

"So, how do we find the criminal?" She asked while serving food to him

"Thank you... I don't know for sure but I'm gonna need some help with your friends." He said and ate

"You're gonna tell them about the time travel and stuff?" She asked

"No... Minamoto sensei said that I should just convince them with a lie because there's a chance I won't be getting back in the future if they know" she hummed in response and they ate in silence. After eating, he washed up and muttered a 'good night' to her
