PROTECT YASHIRO

Amane's POV

I woke up to a delicious smell. I found myself walking towards the kitchen. There, I saw Yashiro cooking us breakfast while humming.

"Good morning, Amane-kun!" She greeted me and I greeted her back

She finished cooking and I instantly dug in. We finished eating and I volunteered to help her wash the dishes.

'She looks like a housewife' I thought and I instantly blushed

'What the hell Amane?' I scold myself and focused on washing the dishes.

After 10 minutes, we were both ready to go to school.

In class

"Pipe down, everyone!" Tsuchigomori yelled and they instantly went silent

"Today, there will be a new transfer student. You can come in now" Seconds later, a boy with an average height and choppy bangs went it. Girls were squealing and were eager to get to know him

"Good morning everyone. My name is I'm Yugi Amane. I'm 15 and I love astronomy. I'll be in your care" he bowed to them and they clapped. He searched for an empty seat and it was behind Yashiro. He took a seat behind her and subtly looked at everyone who could be a suspect.

Kou was glaring daggers at the new transfer student as he ate his lunch. Aoi and Mitsuba were busy whispering tea while Yashiro was in the bathroom.

"So, what's your relationship with Senpai?" Kou asked with a cold voice

"I'm her childhood friend" he lied

"You don't like her right?" He asked

'God, he's so blunt' Amane thought

"Nope. I'm not interested in her" he lied

"Good. Anyway, I'm Minamoto Kou" his mood immediately switch

"What a mood" Mitsuba said

"Shut up" Kou replied while drinking his juice box

"So, did you all get along?" Yashiro asked as she sat down beside Amane

"Yep!" Kou answered

"Are you gonna be okay though?" Aoi asked

"What do you mean?" He asked confused

"Exam is tomorrow. I don't know why it kept getting moved though" Mitsuba replied

'What the hell!? I thought it was next week!? Is it because I travelled back in time that I messed up the timeline? Did everything changed because of me?' He asked himself

"Are you okay? You look pale" Kou asked worriedly

"I'm fine"

"Don't worry... We'll help you" Yashiro piped in excitedly

"Yashiro did you forget? You're gonna get killed the day before examination" he reminded her

"What do you mean?" The trio asked confused

'Crap! I forgot they were still here-'

"Should we tell them?" Yashiro asked and he nodded

"Guys, I know we just met but I need your help. Someone was sending Yashiro death threats and she claimed that she was stalked for more than a week. On the latest note, it said that her stalker will kill her today" he lied but it was true that she will be killed today

"What?!" Kou yelled in anger surprising everyone in the canteen

"Sit down dumbass" Mitsuba scolded him

"Why haven't you tell us about this nene-chan?" Aoi asked

"I didn't wanna worry you guys. I'm sorry" she played along

"We'll protect her and keep her in our reach, okay?" Amane asked and they all nodded

"Should we notify the teachers and police?" Kou asked but Amane said 'no need'

"We already did" he added

"Never let her out of your sight, okay?" They all nodded while Amane reassured her that everything will be okay.
