panting as she leapt from roof top to roof top, all she could think about was sero. why sero? what about her father? finally she reached the last building and could not jump any farther.
she made a hover board and floated down to the ground before zooming off ahead to find a safe place to hide. explosions and the screams of innocents could be heard behind her.
"I'm so fucking sorry.." she whispered to herself as she fled the scene to a safe area.
her heart ached.
tears brimmed her eyes.
her vision blurred but she wiped her tears away when she saw very familiar silloetes. they became clearer as she neared them.
their faces. their smiles. it was all so familiar to her, but who were they?
she slowed down, stopped 10 feet away from them. she stepped down from her hoverboard and observed their faces. they all smiled and looked so familiar.
"hello my dear, how are you?" said the tallest female figure. her voice was sweet and comforting. so familiar...
"who..who are you?" asked y/n, taking a step back as the female took a step forward.
"why dear, we're your family."
y/n froze as their faces became clearer. they all smiled at her but she didn't show any emotion. her heart started racing as memories started flooding back of her family.
she fell to her knees and started balling. (⛹♀️) "y/n!" she heard her eldest brother yell. arms wrapped around her and her name was being yelled repeatedly.
finally,
she sat up, gasping for air. she looked around and realized she was in her room and it was all a dream.
she looked to her right to see sero standing beside her bed, staring at her worryingly. "are you alright? why were you crying?:
sero sat on her bed and held her hands in his. she stared down at their hands as she remembered her dream again. "my family..."
"your family?"
she nodded as tears brimmed her eyelids once again. sero quickly, yet gently, pulled her into a hug. tears started streaming uncontrollably as her hands balled into fists, gripping his shirt.
