Taehyun POV

A familiar voice called. I turned to see Beomgyu standing in front of me with a stack of paper. "Hey" I said I looked at him but felt a bit of embarrassment from what Kai had said. "Hi," he said a bit awkwardly. "What's that for?" I asked.

"I'm a part of the student council so I gotta put these around the school. It's for the Arts Festival. The tickets'' he said, moving his hair away from his face. He looked different this time. More soft, shy, quiet and it was cute? "Well um I'm gonna go finish this"' he said. "I can help you if you'd like" the way he looked made me want to be close to him. "Oh no it's ok you have class and I don't wanna bother you" "Mr.Kang?" My teacher came out into the hallway.

"Yes sir?" I asked. "What are you still doing out here?" He asked with a stern voice. "I was just asking if he needed my help but he said-" "I'd love his help!" Beomgyu had cut me off. "I really need his help with this and he was being nice and all and this is a lot of paper so his help would really make me happy" he gave the teacher an awkward smile.

"Alright then go, you're wasting my time" he went back inside. "Why'd you do that?" I asked. "Because he would've lectured you and I doubt you would enjoy that" he said. "True" I nodded. "Here take half I did the first and second floor already, it's just this floor left." He said giving the half. "Ok" I said. "You do this half and I'll do the other" he smiled and went off to his half.

I started to place the papers on the walls, bulletin boards, doors, and windows. It took around 20 minutes and once I was done I went looking for Beomgyu. The school was pretty big hence why it took me so long to finish. "Beomgyu?" I called. I walked around looking for him. "Beomgyu?" I found him standing near an open window. "Hey Taehyun, you're done?" He asked. He turned around. "Yea what are you doing by the window?" I asked.  He looked back. "Cherry blossoms" he said. I looked at him confused. "Huh?" I stepped a little closer to him. "It's my favourite, you know, it has one of my favourite colours on it too, they're beautiful. I think of them as a lifesaver for me" he smiled. "The petals make the world so pretty when they get blown in the air" he looked at me and smiled "it's the best" I suddenly felt this big blow of air come right at me, my eyes widened and my heart started to beat faster. What is this feeling I've never felt before?

He came up to me and took my hand. He led me to the window. "Close your eyes and take a deep breath" he said standing behind me. He has a soft and warm touch that made my stomach turn. I did as he said. "What do you feel?" He whispered.  "Comfort, safe, warm" I said. "This is what helps me calm my nerves when I'm anxious" I turned and looked at him. "It works, I never realised how beautiful it looks" I said.

He still held my hand. We looked at each other and just stood there. His eyes were filled with comfort and warmth. "Wanna come over to my place?" I asked. "We could watch movies and eat, and I got a pool too" he looked excited. It would be a lot more fun having a new friend over. "Really?" He asked. "Mhm" I nodded. "Ok, then but I need to change my clothes and shower too" he chuckled.  "That's fine, just give me your phone so I can add my number in it" I said.

He looked a bit surprised, like he didn't expect me to say that. "Ok" he took out his phone and handed it to me. It had a bear phone case. I went into his context and added my number. I took a photo of myself and handed it back to him. "Ok do the same to mine" I took mine out and handed it to him. He quickly added in his number and took a photo. We switched back our phones and I felt happy. It looks like he feels better already.

"We should get back to class now, I'll see you after school Taehyun" he put his phone back into his pocket. "Thanks for helping me" he said and walked off to his class. I walked back to my class and waited the clock out. It's been a while since I felt this much excitement.

As I was finishing up my notes my phone buzzed.
