Ok I see him coming now.

"Hi Gyu" Tashyun said as he took off his earbuds crossing the road. "Hey Taehyun," I said as I watched him put his earbuds in his bag along with his phone.

I took out his sweater and zipped up my bag. "I have your sweater" I blushed a bit. "Thanks Gyu," he smiled. " oh I almost forgot" he took out the neatly folded sweater "here's your sweater" he said. "Thanks Tae," I said as we exchanged the clothing "Kai calls me that" he giggled.

"Oh sorry Taehyun" I said as I put my sweater into my bag. "I never said it was a bad thing Beommie" he smiled. "I think I like Beommie a lot more than Gyu" I said. "Beommie it is" we both laughed. I suddenly got a call from my mom.

Hey mom
Beomgyu sweetie?
Yes mom?
Todays the 21st, remember? I have to pick you up early for your check up at the hospital.

Right, my check up.
I put my hand over my chest.

Twelve years ago

"He has lung cancer. It's rare but he's got it" the doctor said, looking at the screen. My mom took me to hospital after she started noticing me coughing a lot after I ran or did anything that made me lose my breath. "There's most likely a 30% chance he'll live a normal life but we'll try our best till then" the doctor said.

"What does live mean?" I asked. I couldn't understand anything that was going on. The doctor bent down to my height. "It means to grow up" the doctor said "but you said I have 30 chance that means I won't grow up?" I asked. " I don't wanna leave my mommy all alone" I remember crying.

"It just means angels might take you to the clouds sooner than later," the doctor said. The doctor looked around and got up to take a teddy bear keychain from a basket. "Keep this, '' he said and placed it in my hand.  "As long as you have this you'll be a happy boy and you'll find someone who you love" I looked at the tiny keychain and back at him. "But how do you know that?" I asked, whipping my tears.

"My mom had the same problem but when my dad gave this to her when they were kids he said the same to her and she lived a lovely life with him" he said staring at the teddy. He sighed. "When my mom was slowly being taken by the angels she said to give it to someone who needs it or someone you love" he smiled. "And that little one is you," he said, bopping my nose. I chuckled a bit and looked at the chain.

"So when I have this I can grow up" I smiled. "See mommy I won't leave until I'm bigger and stronger" I remember seeing a tear in my mom's face. She was smiling at me but she knew. And now I know. "Don't ever lose this ok, when you find someone who needs it or someone you love give this to them ok?" The doctor said, "Ok mister doctor" I said.

I forgot about that mom
It's ok sweetie just remember to go to the office around 1:00 ok?

I looked into my pocket to see the bear chain

Never go anywhere without it.

I know things like that don't exist, I knew he was just trying to help a little kid feel better but when I had it gave me a bit of hope that I could possibly still go on.

"Why do you have a keychain Beommie?" Taehyun asked. Shit. "Uh my mom gave it to me for my birthday, my first birthday so uh yeah I'm kinda attached to it" I said watching it dangle. "That's cute" he said, looking at the ground. Once he realised what he said he turned red. "I mean like it's cute how you're attached to something your mom gave you. I didn't mean you well like you are but I was talking about the key chain" he buried his face into hands and groaned mumbling. "Socially awkward dick" he said. I giggled a bit. He thinks I'm cute. I smiled. "Thank you Tae '' I looked at him as he still buried his face pecking through his fingers to look at me. "Your welcome" he said through his teeth.

"Come on, let's go in" I smiled. "Yea" he said without making eye contact. I took him by the hand and we went into the school.

I felt such pure bliss being able to finally talk to him, to be close to his side. But it wasn't enough. I wanted more. I want to be his euphoria. I wanted him.
