~The Day After Natsu's Birthday~
(🧩3rd Person POV🧩)
Acnologia wrote a quick short note and set it next to Natsu's breakfast. He was surprised Natsu didn't wake up. Acnologia kissed Natsu's forehead and walked out of the cave. A single tear flowed down the chaotic dragon's face as he turned into his dragon form. He then flew away after casting a scent diffusion spell to cover his tracks. Tears flowed silently as he left.
~About an hour later~
(🖤🔥💙Natsu's POV💙🔥🖤)
I woke up rubbing my eyes tiredly. I couldn't smell father at all. I panicked and shot up from my makeshift bed. I looked around frantically. "Old Man!... Father!... DAD!" I screamed. Tears started to fall down my face. "Where are you, Dad!" I fell to my knees. I spotted a note near a plate of food by the head of my bed. I grabbed the note and read it.
Natsu,
I know, you're probably worried that you can't smell me nor see me. I made sure you couldn't track me. Please don't come looking for me. I left you breakfast next to your bed.

I grabbed the plate of food and ate it. After finishing that confusion/tear-filled breakfast I put on my cloak, and finally my scarf. After making sure everything is on correctly I grabbed my satchel and put a picture that the old man and I took yesterday after flight class. I looked so grumpy as I was pouting at dad for laughing. Pops looked like he was going to die from laughing so hard in that photo but still made sure to smile. He tried to get me to smile too, but I still couldn’t get over him laughing at me for having a crash landing.
