This. Is. Amazing! Ellie finally came with me, into the forest! Ellie never knew but this forest is rumoured to be haunted, and to be honest i really wanted to see some ghosts. This is gonna be sick!

Oops- stepped on a stick. Ellie turned around and glared at me for a second before looking back at the house with a look of confusion written on her face. Guess the forest is getting to her, she'll be fine.  I also turned to look at the house and saw a black streak pass behind us. Oh my gosh this is amazing! The forest could really be haunted!

After awhile it started getting dark, and usually i would complain about not being able to see, but i had a flashlight and adrenaline on my side."hey al?"  hear from in front of me "it's getting late, maybe we  should head back." i sighed, it was just getting good though! Plus we haven't encountered much paranormal activity. Eventually i give in to her request

"Fine but let's come back tomorrow even earlier! So then we can explore more!" I counter her request and she sighs. And leads the way back home. That's when I heard it. The dreadful noise that i had hoped i had heard earlier, but made me terrified. Someone snapped a twig behind us, so they meant that There was someone there and not a ghost. And there were two sets of footprints so that would mean two kids and if there were two kids then there would be some sort of reaction from the other from the twig snap. Even if it was on purpose, they would probably be giggling.

"Al, why did you stop? I hear Ellie asked me.

"I didn't step on a twig..." she tensed.

"Maybe it was those kids from earlier?" she was visibly shaking now.

I shake my head "i think we're being followed" I think that was the final piece of evidence she needed to get out of there. She grabbed my hand and started to drag me out of the forest at quite the fast rate, I almost couldn't keep up. I kept glancing back to see if that smudge of a person was still following us. They were. I was panicking. Oh gosh... this was all my fault... we wouldn't  be in this mess if i wasn't so persistent on going into the forest. Stupid rumours. Stupid adventure. I shake my head no, I need to focus. Apparently we were already at the  house, though I could've sworn that it was more of light gray than this beige colour that it was currently. I turned around to look at Ellie who was trying to catch her breath. "Ellie?" i said trying to catch her attention she had stepped back into the forest which probably wasn't the best idea given the circumstances. The smudge was no longer a smudge it was a human and was right behind my sister "Ellie! Behind you!" I shouted, running towards but she had already passed out. The man she down on ground before standing up and looking at me

"Hello, little girl. You shouldn't be out here all alone this late at night." Well, I am now both offended and terrified

"Dude, ,  i'm not a girl. 2, I'm not little. 3, Give me back my sister!" I say lunging toward him. He sidesteps my attack and I smack my head on a tree. I shake my head and stand back up. I can already feel the blood dripping down my face. 'Wait where did he go?' I look around me until i feel something hit the back of my knees and I crumble to the ground, I look up and see the man he grabs my ankle and starts dragging me through the forest, my sister on his back, i hit my head on a rock and it all goes black...Man, I'm really am an idiot.
