Is this just another horror story?

~Third Person~

After Ellie gained her composure a door popped up and opened to reveal the kitchen in which they would make the meal. It was so clean yet so eerie, the kitchen was styled into a pastel colored moderened room. Looking around at the surroundings there were security cameras in every corner of the room. The feeling of being watched never left. Edgar walked to the blue pastel fridge, to open up and grab the eggs and bacon. Handing them over to Ellie who already started gathering the pans to start cooking. Alex and Asher who both look dumbfounded on how calm the other two were. Finally Asher took charge, saying;

"Here, move closer to me."

"Don't try anything, k, weirdo!" Alex responds.

"Gosh you wound me, i promise I won't." Asher replies with a light chuckle. He then wraps his hands around their waist rather awkwardly. The two awkwardly with their face tinted red with embarrassment.

After both pairs got situated the cooking comences. Alex and Asher were on Bacon duty, while Ellie and Edgar were on Egg duty. While Ellie starts cracking the eggs Edgar looks at the board to make sure that complete all the tasks, that's when he realizes something. 'We have to cut ourselves?!" He's flabbergasted, how on earth are they going to cut themselves on? The egg shells would work but Edgar doesn't want to do it in front of Ellie, who knows how she would react. After the first set of eggs is complete he gives into it and whispers to Ellie "We need to cut ourselves on something so be sure to save some sharp shells or something." he looks around "I don't see any visible knives."

"Hello, toys. Forgot to mention there's a timer" the disembodied voice says startling the latter.

"Guys we have ten minutes left!" Alex explains. They then accidentally hit their hand on the knife they used to open the package. "Gosh dangit!"

"25% completed 75% remaining" a computerized female voice said. Asher pokes his own hand on the knife and it goes down to 50- 50. Alex picks up the pan with bacon on it and sticks it in the oven sets the timer for 7 minutes that way they still had a minute to plate the food.

"75% percent completed 25% remaining" Edgar had cut his finger with an egg shell. All that's left was ellie. Whom then took her nail and slashed it across her arm peeling a bit of skin off. Now all that's left was to wait for the food to be done.

Alex and Asher soon pull the bacon out of the oven and set it on the counter then after putting some gloves on the set it on the plates that the eggs were on.

"Well done my toys! You are very clever. I would come and congratulate you myself, but Miss Alex is rather... annoying and I really don't want to deal with her. So I sadly will not be able to join you for breakfast. At least until Miss Alex is able to get past this phase of hers and her temper."  Alex was fuming.

"I. AM. NOT. A. GIRL. NOR. AM. I. IN. A .PHASE." Alex says before turning around and punching the wall.

"Remind me not to get on their bad side" Asher says backing away from them a little.

"Chill out Al." Ellie says "I know you're mad but. Think about it if these walls were made of drywall and you punched hoel into it what would the repercussions be?"

"Whatever" Alex says before sitting at the random table and eating her breakfast in silence. The others glanced at each other before going over and sitting down with their own food as well.

After the awkward silence, the board lit up again with the text of " Congrats my toys! You all may pass through the door to the left to your next task!" Finishing his food first, Edgar stood up, looking past into the new, he sighed" Well, if we're going to try to get out of here, might as well listen to him."
