The trio of teens grunted and hollered as they raced to dodge an incoming fireball that was spat at them, courtesy of the flying monster. Of course, being able to dodge his attack did not please the violent creature as it snarled at them from above.

"Ah, that's some bad breath!" Atlanta grunted as she made her way back into a standing position in the middle of the two boys beside her. And as she did so, her hands searched her waist for her bola. Spinning it around her fingertips, Atlanta flung the weapon to the monster who, by now, was nearing for another attack of its own.

But thankfully the huntress's aim was true and the bola made its way to the Typhus's neck. Swirling dangerously around its neck ruff and beard, giving it a blunt cut while it was at it, and managing to dissuade the flying behemoth enough to pull up from its dive at them. But again, this did not please the creature as it swooped around and gave another mighty screech ( at this point the most damage to the teens seemed aimed at their ear drums ).

"What's the plan of attack?!" Odie, not quite used to physical fighting, asked his two teammates with a decent amount of fear in his tone. Especially since the, now blunt bearded, monster was flying at them once again.

"Maybe we should-" Herry began, but as it was the teens were taking too long to regroup and act the monster had spat out another burning fireball straight at them.

"Run!" The two, more athletic, members of the trio shouted. But due to his inexperience with utilizing physical reflexes, Odie was left in his teammates' dust as the attack sailed straight for him.

"Ahhh!" Odie hollered out, pain marring his features as the momentum of the blast carried him up and over the dam's stone railing, and left him to fall down its steep face alongside the nearest waterfall.

"Odie!" Herry bellowed out, racing back to where they were with Atlanta ( who was also creating quite the fearful ruckus) as they could barely make out the top of Odie's head above the waterfall mist, and not to mention the actual water bit that was encapsulating Odie in its grasp. Forcing him, it seemed, to plummet faster than anticipated to his doom down below.

Meanwhile, the Typhus had arrived at the scene and Herry was left to deal with both snake heads as they glowered and hissed at him from either of his sides. Seeing as Atlanta was left a distance away to come up with a solution to save Odie on the spot, speed being something she was particularly good at but not in this case. So there Herry stood, in the middle of the dam, creating time for his remaining teammate by taking on the two nasty snake heads. And perhaps it was luck, but somehow he was able to dodge both the heads as they simultaneously lunged forward with their jaws agape. He had leapt forwards and left them to collide with one another, granting him enough time to race towards his despondent friend and grab her hand.

"Atlanta! We gotta move!" Herry roared, dragging his fellow hero beside him as his great strides ate up the concrete walkway quickly. But not as quickly as Atlanta who, once she caught her balance, practically flew across the dam at an insane speed which she was already becoming identified with.

"Herry, hurry up!" She called behind her as she easily beat the gargantuan teen boy to his truck all the way back to the dam gatehouse. Skidding to a halt as she waited for him to catch up, and fatefully Jay's team was just around the bend as they all shouted at one another to run, get in the truck, and drive! Of course, the Typhus couldn't help but to let another fireball loose in the chase and it managed to clip Jay's ankles as he was then pushed forward by the explosion. But thankfully, he was able to recover quickly and hop inside the vehicle. To which Herry revved the engine into high gear and took off. Driving like a stunt man as the truck skid a complete one-eighty to turn around, and bounding over ponds of flames in an effort to escape the calamitous beast flying behind them. Once they got enough distance from the monstrosity, Jay began asking the others questions. Namely, where was Odie?

"He went over the other side of the dam." Atlanta answered remorsefully, massaging her scalp as though her sorrow was a headache instead.

"No!" Theresa spoke, anxiety lacing her tone.

"What?!" Jay spoke around her, looking to Herry.

"There was nothing we could do." Herry replied, never once taking his eyes from the road or from the sky above them. Though, if someone were to question him later about this you might catch that Herry also didn't have the courage to look at anyone in the truck due to their teammate's absence weighing heavily on his shoulders. A few moments were left in silence after his answer, everyone beginning to mourn their friend and fellow hero, and on their first mission no less.

"Did we lose it?" Archie braved to break the chilling silence, eager to go back home and forget all about this experience. Maybe even wishing he had left before he got so attached to the other teenagers, at least then he wouldn't feel so guilty and depressed.

"No... it just stopped following us." Herry announced.

"Must be guarding something back there." Archie theorized, a little hopeful to ascertain a limit towards the Typhus's movements and possible restrictions.

"Or maybe someone" Mel's meager little voice added a small input.

"Herry, turn the truck around we're going back." Jay barked out all of the sudden, making Theresa jump in her seat beside him startled and horrified.

"But, Jay we can't beat that thing!" Theresa pointed out, too frightened at the prospect of a round two with Mr. Fireball.

"We have to save Odie!" Jay, eyes narrowed, the picture of cool and confidant silenced the truck once more as they all began to mentally prepare themselves for the one of the biggest fights of their lives to date.
