It was just I and Michael out here in the cold dark forest. I took Michael along with me to get shade under a rock where i laid him down sitting beside him. I couldn't stop thinking about everything I have experienced up until now. I really needed to sit down with someone and talk about this, i looked at Michael, he was still out cold, i wonder what had happened to him, although i was sure he was alive because he had a normal pulse and a steady heartbeat so i guess he was merely asleep or he had fainted from something—I don't know.
I was still feeling the pain on my injured shoulder from the time my staff came flying to me...looking back at it now I can't help but to thank the heavens i made it out of there alive.
"Damn! I can't be the only one out here", i kept on thinking.
"Who was that person in a deathgod attire that was about to kill Michael?"
"Was it a he or a she? It was different from the other creatures—it felt *human* it felt *mindless*, it had a long silky red hair...it's probably feminine"
I made a long, deep, disappointed feeling breathe
"None of this makes any sense at all, none of this is helpful, I cannot seem to put all these together, it feels like there are so many missing pieces"
I looked at Michael again
"I wish i was you, just sleeping like normal while you protect me through this nightmare"
I shoved him to see if he was gonna react but he remained lifeless.
I was starting to get a feeling I wasn't—we weren't alone, Derek,Stephan,Sophia,Lena, they could all be here, if I could find Michael i sure as hell could find them too. I got up from where i was sitting beside Michael and stared at the full moon for a while, i had an idea. I'm gonna start a fire and i hope this idea is not going to back fire at me.
Yes i was going to start a fire and hopefully it attracts my friends *if they are here* and not monsters as I'm in no condition to deal with that.
"Ahhh yes, i almost forgot about my bleeding shoulder", i cut out a piece of my clothing and wrapped it tightly around my shoulder joints that's about it for now, i was so worried to the extent that I could barely feel the pains.
I picked back up my stick, I would have to leave Michael here for now, making my way deeper into the forest.
It was rather windy, dry leaves flew through the air brushing past my face. I got to a spot where I considered tactically favorable incase things don't go the way I expect, i could easily make a run for it and escape. I knew I couldn't make fire the easy way, i had to go primitive on this one. I gathered broken dry branches from the surrounding area, dead dry leaves and two stones. In some minutes I managed to create a little fire, it was the hardest i have ever worked my entire life, but i had to sustain the little fire and nurture it into a bigger fire so it can be a visible signal to my friends. I hustled more branch sticks and dry leaves with the windy weather aiding my fire. In time it started blowing up and growing, burning the surrounding shrubs and trees in the area. This was my cue, I immediately made my way to a vantage point where i could observe comfortably, i waited and waited and waited for hours...i was getting hungry...until i heard rustling in the bushes, I lifted up my head, also trying to strengthen the senses of my ears so i could determine where it was coming from...
There...i could now see where it was coming from exactly 2 o'clock from my position. Who is it gonna be Derek? Stephan? Sophia? or Lena?
"Grooooaaahhh!!!"
"Shit!", I exclaimed
It was an Ogre, i might have as well given away my position. I lifted up my head again to see but it was no longer there.
"Oh my God! Where did it go???"
I turned, to my surprise it was now coming from behind. The shock i felt was enough to throw me from my vantage point rolling down to the valley, it was then and there I realized the Ogre didn't disappear, there was just two of them, now i have fallen right at the feet of the initial Ogre i saw.
This must be it for me...
