Ch. 2

Bonus scene:
Luscious beat the shit out of James the past 2-3 weeks and narcissa and Bellatrix stopped talking and even stopped doing "girls night out" with Lily.

When Severus had heard the news of a baby that's when he absolutely broke. He would shut himself out from everybody, and stopped hanging out with his friends (except Lily). The only places you could see him would be at work 7:30am- 5:00pm, sulking himself in the streets (sleeping or eating), or in the woods wheee Lily and him used to go and watch the sunset and sunrise 5:00am- 7:00am/5:00pm-8:00pm.

This kept happening until one day, he won the lottery (not me tryna be cringey). First he was gonna buy his own house (a medium one cause it's just him and his friends), buy groceries, do taxes and bills,get some more clothes, and save the rest for things needed. He quit his old job and applied for a better job, and was focusing on himself for a change, and even almost forgot about James....that was until their death that is.

The day when James and Lily were killed by Voldemort:
By that time James had realized he had liked Severus but knew Severus would never like him back again after what he did, so he just continued living on with Lily. He knew that Voldemort was coming that day so he started secretly packing his bags. The plan was that he was gonna take baby Harry, and leave take Lily later since he had thought they would just take Lily for questioning and he would tell her that he no longer feels anything for Lily and figure it out from there, when Voldemort was going to come to their house he made a spell that showed a fake baby Harry and James, but then.... he heard it, the death spell.... after Voldemort left he went to check what happened and saw it... Lily laying on the floor dead, he couldn't do anything but make it look like he had died too, and to go that, he had to leave baby Harry.

Harry went to the ministry and explained everything, they told him he had to hide, and that they would deal with the matter. They had simply told everyone that James and Lily had died and that baby Harry was the only one who had survived. 2 weeks later James had been sent a video, a video of their funeral. But there was something or rather someone James couldn't stop looking at in the video footage. It was Severus, and he looked spectacular but his face looked depressing...

Severus's POV during the funeral:
'If only I was better than Lily, then maybe he wouldn't have cheated, married Lily, had a baby with her, and died... I know he didn't just date me as a "joke" but then...why would he even cheat on me? Was it because we had to pretend we didn't like each other? Was it because I was ugly to him? Was it because he thought I would embarrass him when we told his parents and Hogwarts we were dating? I don't understand....'
