Being Chris' assistant was the best job you have ever had, he wasn't demanding as some Hollywood actors you have met in your time living in LA and he didn't treat you like a second class citizen, maybe because you had secretly been dating behind the scenes and he didn't want to treat his own girlfriend poorly. You were currently one set with him for his latest movie, excited as you always were when you were able to watch your boyfriend do what he loves the most, and one day you would be brave enough to walk down the red carpet with him, not as his assistant as the world knows you, but hand in hand as a couple.
You smile as the director yells cut at the end of the take, waving a little at Chris as he walks over to his chair, sitting down slowly. You pass over his annotated copy of his script quietly, watching him looking for his phone, a frown pulling onto his face as you notice it isn't on him.
"I think you may have left it in your trailer, want me to grab it for you?" You ask him and passes a water bottle to him as he looks up at you, smiling softly.
"Are you sure? I can go..." He says and caresses your arm gently, looking at you with his bright blue eyes lovingly, not caring if there is anyone around you at the moment.
You blush, squeezing his hand gently before nodding. "Its my job, I will be back in a few minutes..." You say and start walking to his trailer, unaware that he is watching you walk away happily.

You find Chris' phone on the bedside set of drawers when you walk into his trailer, blushing a little when you see your clothes from last night sprawled out on the floor as you were a bit preoccupied after filming wrapped for the day and you both were a little intoxicated to not care where your clothes landed.
You make quick work to tidying up the trailer, sliding Chris' phone into your back pocket so you don't forget it while you tidy a little before heading back to him.
Unbeknownst to you there was a broken bottle on the floor where Chris dropped it last night, and in your ballet pumps it easily pierced through and cut your foot.
"Fuck..." You mumble to yourself, biting your lip as you feel the pain emanate from your foot, you reach for the first aid kit on the side before sitting down slowly, tears pricking your eyes as you feel the pain of the wound.
Your hands begin to shake as you carefully pull your shoe off, wincing at the pull of the shard of glass, blood running down your foot and dripping onto your hand. You try to blink away your tears but the blinking made the tears slide down your cheeks as you try to deal with the issue by yourself.

Chris started to get worried, the walk from his trailer to the set was barely a five minute walk and you had been gone at least 25 minutes. In that time they had been able to film two more takes of the scene they were working on and have a break in between. He looked round, to see if you had gotten caught up talking to someone but you were nowhere to be be seen.
"Chris, take 5 we are needing to switch up a couple of these lights..." The director calls over to him, Chris nods and gets up from his seat and makes his way to his trailer quickly, panic rising in his stomach as anything could have happened to you in the time you have been gone.
"Ba-Oh, what happened?" He asks, panic in his voice as he walks in and sees the blood on your foot and hand.
You look up at him and take a shaky breath. "I forgot you dropped a bottle last night and a piece pierced through my shoe and into my foot.." You say as Chris sits on the floor in front of you, carefully taking your foot in his hands with light fingers.
"Let's get you cleaned up then..." He whispers and pulls the first aid kit towards him.
"Sorry..." You mumble and watch him, he takes the shard of glass from your foot with ease and hardly any pain before looking up at you confused at why you were apologising.
"You have no reason to apologise love, it was an accident and I should have been more careful last night..." Chris explains as he bandages your foot up, pressing a kiss to the top of the dressing before packing away the first aid kit. He stands up slowly before carrying you with ease to the bed, kissing your head lovingly. "You stay here and I will be back once we have wrapped for the day..."
You blush a little and passes his phone to him, wiping your hands clean with the wet wipe he gives to you, the smell of blood lingering in the air as he cleans up the mess from the floor. You start to feel guilty as it is usually your job to clean up the mess as his assistant.
"Hey, I know that look, this was both of us who made this mess, so do not worry about it." He says and sets with you for a moment as he holds you close to calm you down. "I love you sweetheart and even though you are my assistant, I am capable of doing more than you think..." He says and you curl into him. A smile slowly appearing on your face as you look up at him.
"Thank you for taking care of me..." You whisper before Chris leans down and presses a soft kiss to your forehead.
