With every picture I swiped past, I died inside. With every damn picture, I wished to rue the day I ever met Mudassir. In just 2 hours, their picture had hit "Arewa Blast couples", "Couples today magazine" and "The Tafida Empire Lately".

I had been conned into dating a man who ended up scamming me to thinking I'd be stepping into my matrimonial home. I never thought I'd say this but Men. Are. Scum!!
My inbox was brimming with messages. My close friends were demanding why I haven't gone public with this.

People wouldn't even believe me. I tried to remember a picture we had together. It's a mind-numbing revelation, there was none with him facing the camera. I have been in the relationship alone!!
I read every message without replying to them. I poured another fanta into the wine glass and gulped it at a go.

Empty containers of fanta were scattered around. The bar had different bottles of wine but I decided to get drunk on Fanta, my life. Hot tears filled my eyes .
I'm tempted to do the MenAreScum video women did after ordeals like this.

I removed the fluffy slippers I was wearing and flung it behind me. He had paid for that damn slippers  and it used to be my favorite even after our breakup but now I despise it.

Next month, I will be forced to attend my cousin's wedding which is not coincidentally the same day as Mudassir and Maina Tafida's.

The slippers I had thrown across the room was on the counter.
