Season 1 Episode 6 - Bare Your Fangs

The teenagers were getting it well, lately. A teacher to show them new tricks, the possibility to face some Grimm that no one has seen before when you enter this early in school, and also be vigilantes to stop the plans of Roman Torchwick! What's not to love?! This might be the most exciting week they ever got in their lives! Unfortunately, some had it worse. One of them was Ruby who got injured badly in a recent battle and survived, thankfully. She'd be able to recover fast enough for the dance that is coming the next day!

She has been getting some visits, from her dad or her sister to name a few. The last one was Blake, her Faunus friend, knocking at the door!

Ruby: Come on in!

She exclaims, looking at the door as she was in the medical room of the Academy's Health Centre. Blake opens the door when she hears her, seeing the black and red haired girl in some loose white clothing, with bandages visible at the torso and chest.

Blake: It is a miracle that you are laughing over it. You know that this Grimm's attack could have taken your life...

Ruby: Oh, don't mind it! I may have some normal knees, but those are some powerful knees! Bet I can send someone to the sun and block a laser with them! 

She lets out a big laugh before calming herself down, coughing a bit as Blake sweat drops, but also looks worried for her Team leader. She was going to reply but Ruby was quick to interrupt her.

Ruby: F-For real though, I am fine.

Blake: Ruby...

Ruby: I know, I know. I was the one reckless here, I used it all up thinking that would one shot an alpha.

She shrugs and lets out a sigh in a comedic way before winking at her teammate with a smile.

Ruby: At least, it reassures me that you guys are okay. 

Taken a bit aback by her, Blake could not help but smile a bit after what her friend said.

Ruby: I am sorry, you meant to say something? 

There was a moment of silence, only for the Black-haired Faunus smiles, looking away.

Ruby: Did I say something funny?

Blake: I was looking if you were doing okay. But it seems that with what you are saying, I do not even need to ask. 

Ruby: Of course I am fine! I just started to be a huntress! It's not one day at the hospital that'll stop me! And hey, if you wanna do something to have fun or need help, ask us!

The patient chuckles out along her friend as the conversation ended. Later, outside of Beacon,  Blake took the opportunity for a walk in the middle of the beautiful city of Vale, the lights shining in the middle of the night with its system of lightning dust are invisible to the citizen's eyes. 

Blake: I guess I was worried for nothing. Does she not realize what could have happened to her?...

Scratching her hand, she began to wonder what she is going to do next as she shakes her head.

Blake: No, relax... This is your leader for a reason. Ruby is a good friend too... you must trust her on this. 

However, Blake's ideas were being cut short by sounds coming from one of the neighboring rooms, the sound coming from the room of TEAM R aka Roux, she could hear sounds of packing and preparing, and even gun snapping and getting triggered.

Team R, a pseudo team as Roux did not get the chance to get more members in his team, could be seen in the horizon? He seemingly holds a gun and... a cup?
