Chapter 2

Third person Pov

1/6/21: 1st June 2021

(read first chapter or it won't make sense also I don't know Ashe's Mum name so I'm just going to say Anne)

Ashe kept driving without even thinking about turning back, she was heartbroken and in so much pain but it all happened so suddenly that it was hard for her to process all the information. All she could think about was that the person she loved more than anything, the person she was married to and was going to start a family with. She hadn't even told her family yet because she wanted to let them know after the date where it's very unlikely of a miscarriage. But decided to cheat on her and I can't imagine what that must feel like and to be totally honest I never want to find out.

After a long drive as her Mum lived nearer towards the country side, she got out her car and walked up to the door and knocked. 

After a few seconds went by Anne opened the door "hey Ashlyn sweetie, what brings you here so late". 

Ashe looks at her as tears start to form back into her eyes "Eli cheated on me" Ashe says with a croak in her voice".

"oh honey come her" says her Mum bringing her into a hug and rubbing her back "I'm so sorry, how could he do that to someone as beautiful as you" her Mum says softly into her ear". Ashe sniffs and keeps head on her Mum. "awww, come in baby I don't want you standing in the cold" Anne says slowly pulling away from the hug, to then wipe her tears. 

Takes Ashe's hand and brings her inside "In you come sweetie I'll make you a cup of tea and we can talk". Ashe nods and sits down on the floor in front of the fireplace.

time skip

Ashe wakes up to the sun shining through the window, She slowly gets up and goes to the bathroom and looks into the mirror and yawns. Ashe is now 20 weeks into her pregnancy so half way there. It wasn't the hardest part for her, only difference was her appetite increased and she was just extra tired so would be up later but I don't blame her I would do the same.

She is still getting used to waking up and seeing no one next to her, there's times she has had to have her Mum there because it ached her heart waking up and not having Elijah next to her.

Ashe finishes up and then makes her way downstairs to her Mum in the kitchen making tea. "Morning Mum" Ashe says with a smile. "Morning lovely, your glowing have you done something extra in your routine" Anne says with a slight giggle. Ashe shakes her head "Nope". Anne smile and continues to finish her tea "Would you like some Tea Ashlyn". 

"Yes please" Ashe says as she makes her way to the sofa and sits down, to be joined by her Mum shortly after who hands her the cup of tea "thanks Mum" says Ashe taking a sip without thinking "Arghhh, that was hot" she says in shock.

"Sweetie you forgot to wait for it to call down first" Anne said with a giggle. 

Ashe smiles slightly "Yes I knew that".

Ashe takes a big breath and then looks at Anne "Mum, there is something I need to talk to you about". Anne smiles and looks back at her "You can tell me anything".

"You see not only did I leave Eli with a marriage but I also left him with a baby inside me" Ashe says with nerves in her voice. Anne gleams at Ashe "Awww, Ashlyn sweetie that's great news". Ashe sighs relief "I thought you would be mad" Ashe says as tears build back into her eyes. Anne pulls her into a hug resting her head on Ashe's "Of course I'm not sweetie, that's wonderful news and I'll support you till the end" Anne says placing a kiss on her head.
