Anne's POV
We have been at the hospital for an hour now we are waiting for the midwife to give Ashlyn the epidural she had been in labor for 5 hours now and it's so hard for her.
Ashlyn has never been one of those people who hated pain like when she was little and fell she would just get back up and run again so seeing her moan put in pain hurts so much.
I wish I could take it all away for her.
Ashlyn grips the bars on the bed with a moan as another contraction hits her body, I take her hand and stroke back her hair "just keep breathing Ashlyn".
After a while the Midwife comes into the room and offers the epidural which Ashlyn definitely answers yes to.
Ashlyn sits with her legs on the edge of the bed and the Midwife wipes some gel in the middle of her back "you will feel a pinch but then it will be over".
Ashlyn starts to cry so I take her hand and rub it while it gets put in she jolts a little bit but is fine after.
"This is your fault Elijah" Ashlyn says rolling her eyes.
"Don't blame me, it takes two, to make a baby" Elijah states.
"And it takes one to love properly and not cheat" Ashlyn says tearing up.
Elijah puts his head down and goes quiet after that, the Midwife even looked at him after she said it.
THAT MADE ELIJAH GO QUIET AND THINK ABOUT WHAT HE DID TO ASHLYN, ALSO ASHLYN WILL HAVE THE BABY IN THE NEXT PART🥺❤️
