Insecurities were always a fatal flaw in a relationship. Whether it be not enough trust, or jealousy, it was because of insecurities. What you didn't understand is why your relationship almost failed because of your boyfriend's hidden doubts. Out of people, you never would have guessed that Choi Jonghyun would ever feel below your standards. You really were not one bit aware of how severe his doubts were. Not until the day where he broke down in front of you.
"You should come over to the studio sometime and I'll teach you," You grinned at Changjo's offer. He'd been trying for weeks now to get you over to his dad's dance studio so he could teach you to move. You were all for it, really but you weren't up for the embarrassing session. You didn't want to look stupid in front of him than was necessary.
He had his arm slung around you shoulders while you made you way through the school halls. "I'd love to, really but I can't dance and you know that."
"That's why I'm going to teach you. Come on, just give it a try."
He glanced down at you as you looked up at him. You both were obviously distracted and weren't paying attention to where you were going, causing Changjo to bump into someone.
You gasped as a boy boy collapsed on the floor along with his drink and school supplies. You kneeled down and quickly retrieved tissues you kept in your backpack. You attempted to soak up whatever you could on the boys shirt. "Mianhae. We weren't paying attention and that wasn't on purpose," you smiled sweetly.
He grinned shyly but you could see his cheeks were flushed from humiliation most likely. "It's okay. Gomawa...for helping."
Your smiled widened. "It's the least I could do. Um, we should get you to the office to see if the nurse has a spare shirt."
He shook his head. "It's fine, really. I can go myself." Changjo had began to collect his possessions of the floor. "You've already done enough." He bowed his head politely as Changjo handed him his backpack. "Um, what's your name?" The boy asked, directed at you.
"Kenzie," you smiled.
He gave you a real smile before bowing his head again and departing in his own direction. You glanced at Changjo and his eyes were glued to the boy with a slight glare. You nudged him suspiciously. His eyes averted to you and he instantly grinned. "Let's go?" He asked.
You raised your eyebrow in question but dropped the issue almost immediately. He'd never shown jealousy before so you found it a bit odd that he had given a dirty look to that boy. You were only helping him out...
With that, you were both seated in math, the last place you wanted to be. You decided to work ahead while the teacher explained the same lesson as yesterday but in more depth. You had already gotten the hang of it so you figured you wouldn't need any more explanation.
"Jagiyah~" A whisper came. You turned to Changjo as he leaned closer to you.
"What is it?"
"Could you help me? I don't quite get it..."
You giggled and nodded as you whispered instructions. He nodded occasionally and maintained eye contact. He even scribbled down some notes.
"Wow, you explain it better than the teacher." He had a cheeky smile plastered on his face.
"Oh, sure totally." You smiled.
"Kenzie!" Another whisper-yell came.
You turned to see the boy on the other side of you staring at you.
"Yes?"
"Could you help me too?"
You nodded. "Of course." You leaned over and began explaining to him on what to do. He also paid very close attention to your words and managed to get an understanding of the homework.
