I Grinned at Draco and hopped up from where I was sitting.

I stared into his blues eyes and cocked my head, "Last I checked it didn't have your name on it."

He stared directly into my eyes, "A lot of things that are mine don't have my name on them, yet."

It wasn't even an unsettling thing to say but it made my stomach churn. He smiled so I laughed like it was supposed to be funny.

"So, what do you want to do?" I asked, changing the subject.

"Well we could go on walk while it's still warm out."

"OK let me grab a hoodie."

I run to dorm and rifle through my clothing until I find my favorite hoodie. It was emerald green with a black rose on the sleeves. I hurried back out of the girls dormitories and onto the upper floor of the common room where Draco was already waiting for me.

"Lets go." I gestured towards the door.

The evening air was nice and cool without being too cold. We made our way around the lake slowly as we chatted about school and the mounds of homework we have yet to complete. I chuckled.

"What's so funny?" Draco asked.

I shook my head, "Nothing, I'm just thinking about what kind of hell I'm going to receive form Claire when we get back."

He laughed a little as I reached down and stuck my hand into the water and plucked out a round little stone. I tossed it in the air and catched it again before turning it in my hand, inspecting the small, smooth stone. The stone was pure black with no other color in sight. I turned it round and round in my fingers, not a single edge was rough or jagged, it was as smooth as melting ice. I slipped it into the pocket of my hoodie as we walked. I glanced at the water. It looked so enticing and pretty. I stopped and started to take off my socks and shoes.

"What are you doing?" Draco questioned.

I grinned at him before wading into the water up to just below my mid calfs.

"The water feels nice." I stated shortly.

He laughed, "The water feel nice?"

"Yeah."

He grinned widely, "OK."

I smiled back, "OK."

"You gonna come out now?"

"Mmm... No I'm good."

He raised an eyebrow.

I sighed, "Fine."

I kicked water at him and waded back out of the water.

"We should probably start heading back." Draco suggested.

"Why? Scared we're going to be out past curfew and get caught?" I teased.

He chuckled, "No, it's getting cold and I didn't bring a jacket."

I pouted, "OH you poor thing!"

He didn't reply and blushed as we turned around and started heading back towards the castle. I grinned satisfactorily and victorious. The air got chiller as we walked and Draco shivered a little beside me. The cold was slowly starting to seep through my sweater and I pulled it tightly around me. The sun was starting to set as the castle came into view. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, part of me had worried we were lost but a part of me was always worrying so I hadn't said anything. Most of the time when I worry everything is fine, but that's only most of the time so I can never really completely calm my nerves, I can only manage them to a point where they are no longer too much of a bother. We hurried through the double doors and rocketed down the stairs to the basement.

"I'll see you at dinner!" I called to Draco as we parted ways to go to our common rooms.

He raised a hand before turning and hurrying down the hallway to the Slytherin common room.
