I left Anthony's house when I woke up and went straight to the girls house, but I didn't bother to stay, I only grabbed my stuff and made my way back to Randolph, ignoring their attempts at trying to talk me. When Jannette and my dad tried to ask me about why I was home early, I told them that the girls had a family emergency so I was dropped off and I spent the rest of the day finishing my homework, one of the cats sitting on my lap in the progress.
His purring relaxing me for the rest of the day, I was even able to sleep peacefully, but I was still waking up throughout the night and remembered what happened on Saturday.
I didn't see Anthony in the building so I sighed in a sort of relief as I made my way out of the building, sitting on the bus as I listened to music.
I stared at the text I was typing to the band, but I deleted it and retyped it again. After constant deleting and typing, I went with a simple "Hey you guys! It's been awhile, how've you been?" and sent it.
A random man sat next to me and all I could do was sense something was off. I don't know what it was, but my flight or fight instincts kicked in the moment he sat next to me. I saw the bus stop by RCC and I quickly pushed the button to get off. I got off and looked at the man who sat next to me. He flashed me a weird creepy smile as I saw a figure covered in a black shadow wrap itself around the man's head and neck before I scurried off the bus.
I took a picture of the number on the back of the bus as it drove away and only watch it randomly start speeding out of my view too quickly.
What in the fuck was even that?
It just had to be a day where the red line trains were taking shuttle buses so I had to go to Ruggles station to take a bus directly to the train station. But this made me realize that my entire life, I've been surrounded by the supernatural. That bus driver could've been one himself and I would've never known.
I heard a horn honk and turned my head quickly to the direction before I saw Chris in the passenger seat, a light brunette girl sat next to him on the drivers side. "You need a ride?" He shouted from the other side of the street.
"So then what is Chris?"
"He's actually part Fairy."
I guess he is safe, right?
"I live in Randolph." I shouted back.
"That's fine love. It's too cold out here!" The girl responded, ushering me over. I hesitated a bit before I looked in both lanes before running over to them, sitting behind the girl.
They both turned around and looked at me and all I could do was give an awkward wave. The girl gave me Cece from New Girl vibes, and she was taller than Chris. She literally looked like a model.
"So you're Anthony's mate, AJ. You are more adorable than I thought you would be." She reached over and pinched my cheeks, causing me to flinch slightly at the sudden physical contact. "I'm Angela."
Why does everyone keep on doing that?
"Are you human too?" I asked, looking between her and Chris.
"I am way far from human." Angela said, chuckling slightly as she looked at Chris. "Well, recently I found out that I wasn't." She handed me her phone and I put the address in the GPS.
"Recently?" I put the address in and handed it back to her.
"I was adopted by human parents and I only found out a few months ago that I am an elementalist." She started shaking her shoulders to the beat of a song that Chris started playing.
So she's like a real life avatar. Cool.
"I see you still have your hair in braids. You need me to redo them for you?" Chris asked.
