The Elements

The Truth

After I found Claire I went to talk to Ms. Melrose. She was in her office doing what I was guessing was paper work. "Ms. Melrose? " I asked.

She looked up from what she was doing and stared at me. "Hello Sandra. Has something happened? Did your powers go crazy, fire Elements sneak in? Did Bobby use the microwave again?" I laughed and shook my head.

" No, I'm actually hear to ask about Hunters and Humans and their history with Elements." I told her. She sighed deeply and pulled a old book from behind her desk that made dust come off when she dropped it on her desk. She opened the book to a preticular page with two people tied up and people disecting them.

" The two tied up are a Hunter and an Element the scientists doing tests on them are humans," I stared at her in disbelief. Humans don't know about us and we've only had the world split up for 50 years but this book looked way older than 50 years. "I know what you're thinking but I can not explain this all at once. Look Elements and Hunters have always been around and at one point we were allies, very very close allies. Then the humans discovered us and we agreed to split so it wouldn't be as easy for humans to find us."

"So that means.....he was right." I mumbled to myself, but I think Ms. Melrose heard me.

"Who is he?" She asked me. "Have you and Claire been sneaking around again, you two need to stop that before you get in serious danger."

"Yes Ms. Melrose me and Claire did go out again but I swear it was all Claire's fault." I'm such a terrible person, pinning this on my best friend. Well I mean it was sorta true. "You see me and Claire went out than she ran off, I went after her, an arrow flew past my ear and a Hunter jumped out of a tree."

" Oh yes and did you talk to this Hunter?" She asked me.

"Yes well kinda I'm pretty sure he talked to me first." I said getting tenser and tenser with each word.

"Oh yes I see well you should go to bed Sandra you don't want to be late meeting your Hunter friend tomorrow. " she said.

"How did you...." I questioned.

"I know many things and the one thing I do know is that if the human race will ever accept us Hunters and Element must work together and if you are the one to do this by all means go talk to that Hunter run away I don't care just restore what was ours, Sanda." I was a little surprised by that but also relieved. I walked off to the small room with all the beds but I couldn't stop thinking about what she said.

Hunters and Elements working together I mean that's crazy right?

But maybe I should go see that Hunter.....
