Quasi-equus means horse-like, which is a good way to describe unicorns, pegasus, and centaurs.

The quasi-equus lands are the largest set of islands that house magical creatures. It's off the west coast of Chile. The largest island is around the size of Hawaii.

These lands' primary inhabitants are centaurs, unicorns, and pegasus, obviously but aren't the only ones. Fauns are also common and many other types of magical creatures live there also, either it was a choice or to escape either humans or other attackers.

The entire island is covered in a magical barrier, which is why it is no seen and also why there aren't more landmasses of that size. Although it is hidden from sight, unlike, say, a fairy colony, where the barrier not only shields it from prying eyes but transports the person to the other side, the island was too large. Other magics in the water help deter ships around it.

Doors to the human world dot all over the different islands. Most of them are connected to a kingdom but others are in the middle of nowhere, or in the middle of trees. Some kingdoms guard their magical doors, others send guards to check on it a few times a day.

When it comes to travel to and from the human world, even other magical creature worlds, something like a passport is issued or required to keep track of those coming to and from the different worlds. It is not always required so in some cases inhabitants don't have them.

There are many kingdoms on the island, which sometimes do war against each other depending on who is on the throne.

In terms of technology, the different kingdoms decide how much they wish to use. All have electricity and simple features so at a glance you would assume they live in a medieval time period, but others prefer a lot more technology, like in first world countries.

The information here is still a work in progress. If you have any questions, leave a comment and I will add to this chunk of information.
