-First POV-

"Momma, I don't wanna go with the scary people. They-They're going to hurt me,"

"It'll be alright, baby. No one is going to hurt you. I'll make sure no one will hurt you."

That was a something I wish I could've believed. Even as they took me from my mother's arms and dragged my young, crying, confused 7-year-old self through the streets, I wish I could've believed that it was going to be alright. Even when Uncle Willy and Aunty was looking down at me with pitiful, regretful eyes, I knew many things were going to happen for me.

My name is (Y/N) Tyber, the current inheritor of the War Hammer titan and a weapon used for Marley. I was born in year 833, in the very hometown of Liberio. My mother was the distant relative of Willy Tybur and Lara Tybur. She worked at a school, teaching about Eldian history. My father was a traveling politician, though he wasn't around much.

Though I was an Eldian, my prejudice experience from fear-filled Marleyans had been somewhat shallow and less threatening because of our family name. But I had seen the hate that was given to others. The blame directed to innocent civilians because of something they were never apart of or couldn't control. They were treated like scum of the earth; but in truth, they were an absolute threat to the world. The fear was reasonable. They knew if Eldians came together and used their found power, they could overthrow anything they wanted to.

But I've always been told that true evil were the devils of Paradis. In the palm of their hand was the Founding Titan, a being with such power, it'd be enough to wipe out their enemies. Entire cities. Whole countries. With just one person commanding it on. It was quite terrifying but amazing.

And that's where us warriors come in. Our job was to kill the devils of Paradis and retrieve the Founding Titan, by any means necessary. My own uncle volunteered me as a candidate in a choice of desperation and my mother was absolutely heartbroken. Marley threatened to kill myself and my father if she wasn't to come to the agreement and she did so with resentment and a heavy heart.

I was 7 when I was ripped from her arms, forced through grueling training and ignorant knowledge with six other children.

That's when I first grew to reset Marley. Because of their cluster fearful minds and blatant ignorance, I was forced away from my own home, never to see my family. I wanted to become a strong soldier, I forced myself to push forward with a brave face to become the best because the second I obtained my powers, I would take my mother and run away to the island.

I'd finally get the freedom I sought for. By any means necessary.
